Hello Fellow bowlers !!!!!!!!!
I am reporting that Hookmonster aka Bob has been caught and has admitted to stealing and scamming the bowlers here on ballreviews.
I spoke with the Officer in charge of the case tonight and he is going forward and will take the case to the State Attorney's office and will be charge.
I want to thank all the people for the information they forwarded to Mr Jensen and myself to help catch Bob and his girlfriend. Also I found out his brother is part of the ring also. The funny thing about the whole situation,Bob works in a bowling center !!!!!!!!
All but 2 balls have been found and the Officer will contact those to have them returned and the money will be returned also,but he could not tell me when.
I am so glad we caught this person and now he faces the chance of going to jail.

James, Its really great to hear and know that this crook has been brought to justice. I hope that he gets everything he has coming along with any others who conspired with him.

This is really great news. Not that anyone wants any of my stuff anyway apparently, but I have been really leary of doing any trading. This makes me feel a little better.

The key to getting stuff like this done is for those that get ripped off to get in contact with the appropriate law enforcement agencies.  It may take a couple of people getting ripped off to get them to investigate, but if that is the case, they have to actually have complaints with which to work.

I see too many instances (not just here) of people that decide that for $50-100 it isn't worth 15 minutes of time writing a letter or telephoning law enforcement, and it is that inaction that contributes to allowing the pond scum to continue to rip other people off.  

If you get ripped off, take the steps to help excise that festering boil on the buttocks of the world...
