Beware the welcher: BrunswickBowler
« on: September 03, 2006, 09:26:23 PM »
He asked for a Panic which I had and offered it to him. We exchanged several messages. He wanted pictures of the ball which had only like 5 games on it. I took them, sent them to him. He committed to buy it, sending me his full name and address and said he'd send a money order. 8-10 days later I get no money order; so I send him another ballreviews message asking him the status, if and when he sent it. SOmething, anything. Nope, nothing, no reply. Now, today, 9/4/06, I see him posting again.

Based on the above, I'd be super cautious about dealing with such an individual. He seems to have few ethics and be mostly a troll (based on a recent reply in the DYno-Thane forum).

If only he had the courtesy to say, "I changed my mind or whatever". Here I sit with the ball boxed up, sealed, addressed to him and all. He just don't give a crap. No reply, no message, no email. Thank you, BrunswickBowler; may someone treat you the same way someday.

Charlest, sorry to hear. This is exactly what I went through recently and it is becoming far to prevelant on this site. A little communication is all we ask for. I guess that is too much to ask for nowadays!! Again, sorry this happen to such a good guy like yourself!!

Yep, communication is the key and all communication problems should be reported in this forum. I would attest that this is the most common and most annoying issue that I deal with.

ttt for all to see.

Thanks, guys. But the important thing is that when people do this to you, you feel like you can trust them for anything.

I mean, does it take more than 30 seconds to type, "sorry, I'm no longer interested.", or any similar words. Yes, that's slightly annoying after believing you had a deal, but much less so than "being hung out to dry."
