FOr those of you that I swayed into believing he was a good kid I apologize. As you may or may not recall I entered into a deal with this guy (Chris Lawrence) where I was to get a like new Traxxas TMaxx radio control monster truck. In return he was getting a NIB INferno, NIB Frenzy, used Mutant, 6 inserts, 3 slugs and a towel.

I sent the stuff out and was then informed that he no longer wanted to do the trade because he had sold the truck to somoen else on here....speak up if this was you....PLEASE!!!

Well he got the stuff and then agreed to send it back with the shipping fees I had incurred reimbursed. But he wnated to swap out the Frenzy for a Smash/R he had. I said OK.

Well he allegedly got into a car accident and was sitting in the hospital. I sent emails and they were answered by his "mom" and she said that she would send the balls back to me...that was over 3 weeks ago. I inquired several more times about the where abouts of my equipment and I have gotten nothing.

Now his address is the same as the old Matt Wagar that hosed everyone on here....does anyone have the phone number that was posted before for Wagar??? My package was signed for by what looks to be Joann Wagar but I cannot get a phone number based on his address. According to my sources his address does not exist.

If anyone could help me out here I'd appreciate it....please help me keep this at the top!!!

You are right...I won't use the legal system. Why not? Well let's see...the only group of people I dislike more in this world than child molestors and wife beaters are lawyers. If there were 1/2 the number of lawyers in this countryas there currently are, there would be far fewer problems. The term "ambulance chaser" comes to mind. If it were not for the lawyers and "legal experts" we would have more rights than we currently do and we would also be able to settle many of the issues we have day to day by ourselves.

If you don't believe me then explain why we have so many kids out there threatening to call Children in Youth if Mom or Dad tries to spank them? Care to guess who started some of the first children youth services? Yeah a bunch of lawyers. So the legal system has created a generation where the kids have become empowered and mom and dad are nothing anymore.

We are also talking about the legal system that has allowed Michael Jackson to walk the streets, OJ Simpson to continue playing golf and has kept Pete Rose from the Hall of Fame. Does any of it make sense? Of course not but guess what? The minute we do something wrong, BLAMMO! we run to them for help to try and get ourselves out of the speeding ticket or the DUI or whatever.

What is to be learned from this as a samll business owner?
#1...no trade deals in excess of $200
#2...no trade deals with buyers under 18
#3...always require an adult signature at delivery
#4...money or merchandise in hand before mine gets shipped
