the bottom line is its a pain in the butt with extra paperwork, but I don't mind doing it as long as the buyer understands if the package gets lost, I am not responsible. When shipping stuff to canada, you have to put a customs value on the package and the "insured" value cannot be more than the customs value.. What this means is this. If the person I am shipping to wants me to put a $25 customs value on the package so they don't have to pay customs, I will do that.. But because of that, if the package gets lost, all that is covered is $25 bucks..
There is a huge risk here for the seller IMO..
