Anyone that sells a blem ball thru this site or ebay should aleast state why it is a blem. It is a color blems, shell blems, air bubble blems, pin blems or whatever the case is.
I had the same problem on ebay were a guy sold me 4 balls, but in his written ad,not 1 place did it say there were blems. But I was lucky,as the balls were pin blems where they had pins all 5" or more out. So it worked out for me great.
But these people did not always tell the complete story about the balls they are selling. Yes anything with X-out should raise questions and at that point you should email the seller and ask him directly what the blem is?? And if he does not answer or says they can not look at all the balls, then I would take my business elsewhere.

I Got, that looks like about size 16 font.  If you have a link where he uses small font (less than 8) then please post it.  Otherwise I think this guy has done everything he needs for disclosure.

I don't know if he modified the description since this topic was started, but the description now includes the following, in large type:

X-OUT

THE REASON IT'S FOR  X-OUT IS BECAUSE THE COLOR IS SLIGHTLY OFF

Seems pretty clear to me...

I think Bill is VERY up front with his Seconds or Blem balls. I also sell on ebay, I like to use a larger font with multi colored lettering so it is clear that this ball is "different". There are a lot out there that do not state anything or make a deceptive add, but to me Luxor is always large font and very easy to see what you are bidding on.

The problem with sellers stating what the blem is...is that most times they themselves don't know for certain what the blem is.  When I buy a ball described as a color blem and find out that the mass bias is mis-marked by 4 inches....I tend to feel a little mislead.  If you pay them Chevette money, then don't expect a Corvette....plain and simple.  Easiest way to avoid this potential disaster is just dont buy a blem.
