Buyer/Seller feedback
« on: May 27, 2005, 02:23:52 AM »
Would it be possible for the Ballreviews site to have a rating system created like eBay has to rate its members? Show positive and negative feedback? There are a lot of people on this board who are fair and honest and great to deal with. Unfortunately, there are scumbuckets as well who would screw their own mother to make a buck. That would save a potential buyer/seller from browsing through endless pages to see if the person they want to do a deal with is on the level. Just a thought.....

CRSmith,
That would be very possible but it's up too the owner
of the site for that to happen. As you can see by the
amount of Bad Feedback that something needs to be done
but since Scott sold the site it has went down Hill
some what. I would like to see something done but for
now we will do what we've always done on Here. Sell
great equipment at great prices and make sure our
transactions go smooth as possible and that our BR
customers are Happy! That all we can do and hope for
but I would really like to see something done in the
future, well See!
Thanks MadMax

I have a feeling if something like that is introduced, it won't be long after until Ballreviews.com will no longer be a free site for its sellers.

Sir Bowl-A-Lot,
A rating system should play no part in this being
a free site. Just adding a Positive, Negative or
Neutral symbol to the users ID's is all it would
take. When a FeedBack post is left click the symbol
but it's not Scott's site anymore. Another thing that
get's me is the Wanted/Sale page, Look at the amount
of pages of Old post's, we delete ours as time goes
by. They got too clean them off sometimes, I don't
ever remember it looking like that when Scott owned
the site!
Thanks MadMax

You're right, it shouldn't play a part, but that is not saying it won't.  I think it's a good idea MadMax as long as Ballreviews.com stays a "free" site.

Sir Bowl-A-Lot,
I also completely agree, MadMax.
