Perfect Storm
« on: March 31, 2004, 06:09:46 PM »
I had a dealing with Perfect Storm.

I traded him a fully plugged anomaly for a used fuel and 3 slugs.  I had received the fuel in terrible shape completely all tracked out not what he stated it would be. This was over a month ago and to date I still haven't received the slugs.  He didn't want me to ship the ball out yet because he was gonna sell it to someone else so he was going to have me ship it to whomever to save his costs.

I have emailed him several times and keep getting the run around.

So I have a ball that is just sitting in my garage and to date he still hasn't shipped me the slugs.

Should I just sell the Anomaly to recoup my costs and give him $40.00 for his twice drilled tracked up ball and his shipping?

It looks like it was thrown down the street. It has deep track marks and this is after you said you were gonna resurface it. What were you using to try to resurface this ball. You flattened the finger and thumb holes and must have used about 100 grit because it has deep scratches in it. Don't you guys use cabs or a haus to resurface? I have spent a lot of time trying to get all that track out and almost completely took off the labels just to get the ball round again. In a previous message you stated that the ball only had light tracking. No wonder you were so willing to trade for the anomaly. Trade me a POS for a ball that has about 3 games on it. What also happened to shipping me the slugs? Maybe I should just keep my anomaly and give you like 20 dollars for your POS fuel.

Well, the Fuel is in route and I am gonna send Michael a MO for the slugs. I ordered the 1 black and 2 white. I will let you know about the Anomaly. Thanks for helping me out with that. I am just gonna see whether if should keep the used or not..

It's taking up space and I thought you said you wanted to me to send it somewhere.

Also where are my thumb slugs.

I traded him a Time Zone and Super Charge for something NIB over a month ago, and already sent him both balls, but have yet to see mine.  We agreed on that since I had a few specific balls in mind for him to find, but I'm a little surprised it's taking THIS long.  Should I be worried?  The communication has been great so far, everytime I've messaged him he's sent me a reply within 24 hours.  He had me do the ship it straight to another guy he's trading with thing too.  Keep me posted Doc.

Hamster - I think Brian is doing the old "Rob Peter to pay Paul thing.  He is wheeling and dealing and can't keep track of his transactions.

Yeah, that might be the way to do it though.  Of course, he never saw either ball.  I shipped the TZ straight to you, and you shipped the X straight to somebody else, and he got the money out of both, lol.

Well here is another update.

I finally received the slugs that were promised me and I have since shipped the ball out to the party that was to receive the ball.

I am glad that this deal is finally done and though it took a long time it did finally resolve.

Would I deal with him again probably not.  Not unless I got my end first.  There was some deception on his end and what he represented as truth.  He was caught in a lie and yet he did resolve it.

He also has been apologetic along the way.

I thought that I would bring this post up because I know that some of you have been following this post and I just wanted to let everyone know that this deal has finally resolved and that if you deal with him I would just beware.  I am sure he would be okay to deal with I would just make sure that he has the merchandise and he is shipping to you and not from a third party.

That's all
