I made a deal with this guy over 3 weeks ago if not 4!
Probably over 30 emails, definitely gonna happen.
A Core Power HRG for a Detour straight up, and then two other balls for some moderate money.
Guess what, this I find hard to believe. No ball and he is under 19.
Actual age 15.
Anyone notice that trading IN GENERAL with guys under 20 is usually a pain in the posterior at best and if it comes off, you wish you'd just saved the time and bought new!

PS what frosts me the most is that I missed out on a deal for a Detour with another guy! Now I don't have one.
Three times Mr. Not_enough_carry203 promised ship out. I awaited shipping # and it never happened, fortunately I still have my Core Power HRG!

LL, I haven't really had any problems dealing with the kids, Phlap118, Future155, etc. Matter of fact, the only time I got ripped off was by an older bowler for a Sonic X.
What I've noticed happening is they make the deal first, them go to mom and dad afterwards to try and get the money. On the other hand, if they haven't made a deal, they don't know how much to ask mom to give him.
If nothing was lost, other than time, I wouldn't worry about it. These things happen.
On edit, bear in mind I don't do nearly the amount of swapping you do. The more you deal, the more chances of something going wrong. Guess I've really been lucky. I usually base my decision on how well they present themselves when posting in other sections. Flamers

My time is so valuable that when I do these extended communication trades.
Over 2 to 3 emails I've lost money by not buying new.
Again I summarize.
Guys over 40 one or two emails, paypal, or shipping # then done!
REgards,
Luckylefty
PS time is money!

LL,
If you can't seal the deal with three emails, drop it. Just tell the guy you couldn't wait any longer, and sold/found it elsewhere.
It's not worth the aggravation, even if eventually it might work out.
Just my opinion...

Agreed.
Over 35 three emails and done is average deal.

Search the address, get the home phone, and call a parent. From experience, it's the only way to get resolution. Let me tell ya, once they find out that their kid is cheating adults on the internet and the words "mail fraud" and "minor" start getting used, action (including butt kicking) generally start.

I have a deal pending with him but he is buying from me. So i will let everyone know when and if he pays me. Said he could paypal me but nothing yet, said if he didn't paypal me he would make the M.O. for an extra $10.00. I will keep everyone updated on my deal with him.

SO what about us bowlers between 21 and 35
Do you look to see if they have a profile, or have other feedback?
IF I am trading or buying I will do that.
IF I am selling the guy is paying me first so I don't worry about it.
