I recommend EXTREME caution until a few "known" users report whether or not they received any merchandise from this individual.

I only reported what has transpired so far. The main purpose of this post was to get reports from anyone else with a "track record" on this forum who may have had a recent successful transaction, and to urge caution until we see some successful reports. It seemed unusual that the only report was from a user I can't ever recall seeing, and who hasn't posted for a long time.
Anyway - I will attempt to track this money order and see where it was cashed and by whom. I will report my findings.
Eight working days is a long time for the US Post Office to move a letter across the country. My bills make it in two days. Never seen more than 3 unless it's a package. Oh well - maybe one of the horses came up lame and it will pull into town eventually?
Still would appreciate seeing more replies from all who've had a successful transaction with peelin on it.

Since you are the sender I think this is a wise request from the receiver. Until you find it's been cashed .. it might be better to hold up on your comments! You have the next move .. HE CLAIMS NON-RECEIPT AS OF TODAY .. you think he should have received it .. do your checking!

I HAVE PACKAGES AND MONEY ORDERS FROM BUYERS OR SELLERS RUN LATE OR GET LOST OCCASIONALLY.

I chilled a while ago - you should chill as well. Read it carefully. Nobobdy blasted YOU. It was more of a statement wondering if someone had used your old identity. I also have a perfect Ebay rating (buying and selling - randyo-1). As stated earlier, once I receive information back from the money-order search, I will see where this goes.

Last year I purchased a ball of Jkiser01. Took almost 3 weeks for the money order to get from Illinois to Texas.
Purchased a ball earlier this month for T.Brockette. Again, the money order took around 2 weeks to get from Florida to Texas.
Thankfully my reputation allowed the sellers to know I had actually sent the money order. If I had been a new poster I could see where they might have questions.
I can understand everyone getting a little worried doing business on the site, especially with the few bad apples that crop up from time to time.
This transaction doesn't seem to fit the normal scenario though. I see contact between both parties. Seems to me it's just a glitch.

I had a deal with g_thing and I sent him a money order as payment. Even after 3 weeks the money order still did not get there !!!...So I called and voided the money order and sent him Paypal
Give the Postal system LOTS of time

JOE - I've done a LOT of deals - both here and Ebay. I am usually very patient. The seller and I are communicating - we don't need your help. Thanks anyway.

PEOPLE - READ THE ENTIRE THREAD. This was started as a "public service" warning and an attempt to see if anyone else has had recent good transactions with Peelin' - since I didn't see a track record and there was some unwarranted bad publicity out there.
I have had and will continue to have PRIVATE messages with Peelin' as necessary.
When I receive my ball - I will post appropriate feedback.
I never "attacked" Joe Falco - I was actually very polite by most standards. We are both long time members.
The original intent was to warn any prospective purchasers since the seller stated he had not received my Money Order - something that has NEVER happened with any other Money Order that I've sent. It was just a "caution" and an attempt to see if anyone had done successfull transactions.
So - we've had some replies - some users have vouched for Peelin. I should have a ball on the way shortly. Let's let it rest until I receive the ball and post "final comments".
