« on: November 08, 2004, 01:35:13 PM »
just an update guys dont bid on any auction from bowlerboy77 or anything at all.  I won an auctin for a ebonite fire ball.  I won with a 2 dollar bid.  This guy emails me and tells me he is refunding my money after saying that the ball is worth much more and he just cant get rid of it for that price.

See I would have understood the reserve part.  No problem.  I would have then gladly accepted that remark from him.  But when the auction ended more then a week ago I never heard from him.  Then I recieve a email from him stating that he just doesnt want to get rid of a the ball b/c its worth more.  Well first off I understand second off its used.  So I am kinda wondering why he would try to get more from a used ball.  Finally, I went back and shame on me for this one he did the same thing to another guy a couple months back.  JUST WANTED TO GIVE EVERYONE A HEADS UP.  DONT TRUST THIS GUY AT ALL

Make sure you guys both report the "backout" on the transaction to EBAY -- As well as provide negative feedback.  He should have put a reserve price on them if he thought he might not get a good price.  In a perfect world he'd pony up the balls and learn from his mistakes.

Yeah, he treats me sweet -- I met him at a bowling alley.         (Matchstick Men)
