Title: Problems with xxZonexx
Post by: Warren300 on March 22, 2008, 03:21:28 PM
I bought a ball from him back on the 12th and he said it would ship out. I sent him a message that weekend and he assured me it would be shipped that weekend. Well a few days goes by and nothing happens. I send messages and they get read with no response. He finally replies on Wednesday saying he lost his job and is waiting for a check from Paypal to be able to send the ball. I tell him this is not acceptable and I'm not willing to wait the extra 7-10 days for the check to come before the ball ship. He then messages me back saying the ball would ship on this past Thursday and he'd foward the tracking. Well here it is Saturady and he continues to read my messages and doesn't respond. He read my last message that stated if he didn't respond I'd be forced to make things public, yet still no response. Anyone dealt with this guy before or had issues???

Well ,I guess it's cool to rip people off on here. It seems to be the trend with BR.

Any resolution to this?  He's back on the For Sale board listing more items.  Just curious.

Sorry, mint to follow up. Well here's the deal I finally get a response on Monday with a tracking number and a apology. Ball shows up and it looks like it was used on pavement and it was listed as a Ebonite NV and guess what I recieve. A Total NV, at this point I closed my paypal claim and have chalked it up as a loss and listen learned. Everyone can draw from this transaction and make there own decision if they want to run the risk of a deal.

That sucks Warren.  It's good to know this stuff for the future.  Hopefully this guy doesn't create another user id & sell to unsuspecting guys like us later.  Try to stick w/the guys w/good reps if you can.  There's quite a few on here.  Just search this forumn & you'll find em.  Maybe you pay an extra 5 or 10 bucks but it's worth it.  They are usually fair any way, & if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
