Ike,

I’d like to apologize for the tone of my last note.  I won’t apologize though, for wanting and expecting something that I won fair and square.  I think I could have handled this better, and I hope that we can come to an understanding.  I understand that you are very busy guy, and a very trustworthy guy, evidence from all the threads in these forums.  I was just frustrated because I did not know what was going on, even with you telling me that you were waiting for an email and what not.  I was very confused as to why a person who won a drawing after me would get theirs before me.  At the time, I had no idea that there could be issues with balls being on backorder, problems with FedEx, or communication issues with your distributor guy.  Those issues not being bad issues, just that he was unavailable.  And I really am truly sorry he is sick, and I do hope he gets well soon.  It’s just that the timing of when you told me he was sick and yet a winner from a later drawing received their tracking number for the ball, really threw me for a loop.   Do you deal with multiple distributor guys or just one?  Because, my first thought was well if the guy for the Storm ball is sick (I didn’t know how long he would be out), I’ll switch to a Track ball, because a guy from a later drawing asked for a Track got their tracking number.  So when it seemed I wasn’t getting any movement on my new request, that’s what prompted me to spew that garbage.  So, I do apologize for that.  I really should have handled this little better.

So, a suggestion.  How about for these drawings, you state somewhere a timeframe as to when a ball can be expected.  Like 4-8, 6-10, 2-4 weeks, or whatever timeframe.  You would know better than anyone else, because you deal with it on a daily basis.  Because if I had known up front, some sort of time frame, then I wouldn’t have worried if whether or not you were getting my PM’s.  I would have sent the one PM and not the multiples that I have sent, and patiently waited.  But because I just thought it was as simple as, I request, you place order, and ball gets shipped; I started to get concerned when I could see that other people were getting theirs and as well as people from later drawings, but not me. And probably for 95% of the time it is just that simple, but for that 5% (my case), a timeframe of some kind would have been very satisfactory.

So, I will now, sit and wait patiently for that ball.  Because you are absolutely right, I can’t get a better deal for this high performance ball, anywhere!!

Well dennis, I appreciate you trying to make this better.  I would love to put a time frame on it but what if he gets sick like last time and then people will go even more haywire than you previously did.  It usually doesn't take that long, most likely 1 week tops for me to send him the order and him to ship it and the individual to receive their ball.  I commend you for writing this post.  I deal with one guy cause he beats everyone in prices and there is no point in paying more when I can get the stuff from him.  The reason a guy after yours went out is because maybe he was out of fired ups and was waiting to see if any came in the next few days and then since they didn't he emailed me and told me that he was out.  Then i proceeded to email you about the situation but you already beat me to it and changed what you wanted.  Not 100% sure but that could be why.  I will let you know as soon as he emails me your tracking number.

The timeframe doesn't have to be written in stone by any means.  I mean you could say 2 to 10 weeks.  It's just a guideline, and something that can be easily revised for each circumstance.  So, if the buyer gets it before then, bonus.  I think it would save you alot of headaches and could drastically reduce the number of PM's you get.  As well as possibly make things easier as far as communicating to the buyer(s) the different issues that pop up.

Just something to consider.
