Title: Question about transactions from sellers
Post by: T_Bone on August 15, 2007, 10:26:50 PM
I am not going to mention the sellers name because I might be wrong im my assumption.

After a few pms back and forth in a couple days I decided to purchase a used ball from a seller on this board 9 days ago. I sent the seller via paypal that day and as of today, I have not heard a single word from the seller. A couple days ago I PMed the seller a message asking if the seller was ok. Still, I have not heard anything back from the seller. My question is what is the acceptable amount of time to wait for a transaction before a buyer or seller should wait before they start to worry and what should a buyer or seller do next?

NO, 9 days is unacceptable.. I would think something is wrong and hopefully its not health related.. I think I would go ahead and contact Paypal to get your money refunded..

When I sell anything, that buyer has info at LEAST the next day after payment. IMO, more than 2 days is unacceptable. Messaging is to easy, to fast to let more than 1-2 days go buy without something...my dog ate the check, my foot hurts so it'll be tomorrow before I ship...something , anything, just to keep the other party informed if not shipped the next day, but that's me.
