Please post prices of the stuff your selling in your posts OR don't get an attitude when someone (me) sends you a message asking for a price of something you have listed without a price..

I just had this happen and thats ridiculous.. If you don't have a price posted on something, how else is someone thats interested in what you have know the price if they don't send you a message and ask!!!! How is that a waste of time of your time?

Thats why I only deal with people I have dealt with on here before, period..

Another point to add is if interested and you ask questions and for pics but then decide that you want to wait or aren't intrested let the person know. I might be a little frustrated, but it's better than being more frustrated at the fact that you don't know what the buyer or saler is doing/wanting.

I agree 110% on letting someone know. I have sent pics, taken special requested pics and then the person does not have the courtesy to say "no thanks"..

Look, they don't even put whether the ball's for sale ("FS" or "FOR SALE") or they want to buy it ("WTB", "Wanted to Buy"), or the weight ("15lb", "16lb" or "14lb"), in the subject line. and you want them to post the price?

i dont post the price on my stuff because i ask for reasonable offers. You can ask around, there are people that have gotten STEALS just because i was trying to unload stuff. My prices are fair, and when i need to move, they get low, i leave it to the buyer to see what they are willing to pay for them.

If you post that in your text so that the buyer knows, I see no problem, except when two people disagree on what's reasonable. I have had people say they will pay $30 for a single drill, virtually mint ball when my shipping cost is $25. I ask them if they want me to throw in my sister's virginity also.

Thats OK, but do you get an attitude with the person when they ask you for a price? I am sure the answer is no to that..

Thats what this user did to me. He posted no price, said nothing about taking offers so I ask him for a price, he responded and I responded back to him saying no thanks, I can get it cheaper. He then responded, "thanks, for wasting his time"!! Some people just have no clue..

Asking for offers is fine, as long as thats stated in your post..

I think many post with no pricing to find out if they can either find a maroon to buy their stuff or trolling for pricing.

I basically aviod all listings that do not state price. If they don't know what they want......why would I give them the time of day?

State price of ball and then add actual shipping cost. But you really have to trust seller/buyer. charlest/Jeff and I just did a deal this week. I charged actual price plus actual shipping....ball is going across country Madison, WI to NJ now and his check is going the other way. That's really the MOST fair way to do a deal. On the other hand I'd ONLY do that with certain people on this forum. I have done this in the past with people I know and have NEVER gotten burned.

i agree about what people think is reasonable. its a little trickery on my part as well, i just post a link to all the stuff i'm selling so people have to go and look

just in case if they're only looking for ball a. and dont see it, they just stop looking, this way, they can be looking for ball a, but see ball b and deside they just might want it instead.

I have gotten the raw end of the deal by posting shipped prices since I am on the East coast. From now on, I post my price "PLUS shipping". They want to pay, fine they don't want to pay, fine. My price is usually very low for mint balls.

Of course, I love the ones who say, "can you go any lower?" You give them a lower price and 2 weeks later, they come back and say "I bought it cheaper" OR "I bought something else". Sigh ...
