bigz gets a neutral rating from The Peach
« on: September 08, 2003, 08:22:10 AM »
Overall I say my transactions were neutral, with one being good and one being bad.   I bought a manly 16 lb super power pearl from him and that transation was great with ball being shipped promptly and in the condition as advertised, however, he as a buyer leaves something to be desired.

He contacted me about buying a manly used retro blue from me during the week of 8-24-03 for CHEAP only $40 shipped.  He said that he would not be able to pay for the ball til Friday.  I said ok that's fine and he said that he would send payment on Friday.  I asked him if he wants it for sure because other people were inquiring about it and he said yes for sure.  Well that went against Peach Policy and against the better judgment of The Peach but I thought that it would be ok since we had a good previous transaction a week earlier.  Well I didn't hear from him for a while so I contacted him on 9-7-03 and he then said that he didn't want the ball because he had car bills to pay.

Now being the ebay online seller that I am, I've heard just about every excuse when a user backs out.  Maybe its true maybe its not.  That's not the point.  The point is that if you tell someone that you are going to get the ball for sure then GET THE BALL.  I guess I am old school because my word is as good as gold and when I say that I am going to do something I will do it.  Now that he has delayed the transaction all of the other people that wanted the retro and all who I have told that the ball is sold have bought something else.  Therefore, bigz has wasted my time and cost me a sale, which equals negative feedback by me The Peach.

So, one positive feedback and one negative feedback equals a neutral.....I guess.  But that's the last time I hold something for any of you and the last time I deal with bigz.

By the way, anyone want a hardly used manly retro roto blue?

If the company only knew.....RandyO does not "work" 40 hours per week, rather he is "employed" for 40 hours per week.  Work implies that he actually does something.  On the other hand, "employed" does not.  I would estimate that RandyO works 10 hours per week but gets paid for 40, the unaccounted 30 being spent on BR.  "Working" LOL!

Sounds like a government job!

Around here, we call that kind of job "retired with a paycheck".

Unfortunately, I don't have one of those.
