Beware of this Ebay Seller
« on: December 21, 2003, 11:18:07 PM »
Dont buy anything from Amprosports@aol.com!  Not only is this idiot selling balls at RIDICULOUSLY HIGH prices.....he is also charging $33 shipping per ball.  I sent him an email asking what the price would be lowered to if the ball received no bids and he replied that the ball would be $25 MORE if it received no bids.  Now anyone else see something STUPID here?  I only ask that you do not patronize this seller to preserve the integrity of the whole Ebaying process.  Thx for viewing.

This is the outfit from Hawaii, isn't it?  The same place that has had auctions where only previous customers could bid?

Thats why his shipping charges are so much..He is in hawaii and shipping to the states is very expensive.. I think that guy should just sell locally..

I remember one time he had an old rubber brunswick ball on there for $29.95 + $34 shipping!! I had a good luagh on that considering I would give him 29 cents for the ball, much less pay that ridiculous shipping charge..

I was laughing at the Phantom he was offering for $100.  Said he would raise the price to $125 if no one bid on it.  This guy is a total moron imho.

Want to hear something dumber?

My friend asked if they would let him pick-up the ball so he wouldn't have to pay the ridiculous shipping, and they said no.

To give more insight... this store sells balls on "pre-order" for items they have in the warehouse. Basically, you pay about $30-40 more for getting the ball today, as opposed to two to three weeks from now.
