holdembowler - where's my ball?
« on: February 25, 2004, 04:38:39 AM »
OK, hate to do this, but since he isn't answering emails . . .
Way back in early January I bought a Pearl Savage off of axeweldr. Sent him the money and a ball arrived in a timely manner.  Trouble was, it wasn't the ball I'd bought. Contacted axeweldr about it, he said that he sent me the wrong ball and sent mine to holdembowler who should have gotten the one I got. So he contacted holdembowler who agreed to cross-ship mine to me and I'd ship his to him. Well, I fired his ball off to him on 19 Jan, (to a Drew Heller in Macungie, PA) and he got it on the 27th via UPS ground. Axeweldr, as he promised, sent me the cost of shipping. After another week he informed me that holdembowler was waiting for him (axeweldr) to send him the shipping money before he'd ship my ball to me. Axeweldr sent him the check for shipping, and that was over three weeks ago.  Now holdembowler isn't answering axeweldr's, or my, emails on this site!  Last he told axeweldr was that he'd ship the ball to me on the 9th!  Well, WHERE IS IT?
So now holdembowler has two balls, one he paid for, and one he didn't. And he's got a check from axeweldr for shipping (I'm assuming about $20) and he STOLEN money from both of us (in my opinion).
So HOLDEMBOWLER, if your reading this, come clean and contact us about the stuff you STOLE from us!  Or I'll be forced to contact law inforcement about it!

By the way, AXEWELDR, if any of this is not fact, post the truth here for all to see!
Thanks

Everything sounds like the way it went down.  I shipped out 15 balls that day, and screwed the two of them up.  So, if you are out there, make good one the deal.

the only time i have done any business with him at all i traded two balls and 20 dollars for a threat plugged once and a revmaster .  First he shipped them usps and complained cause i didn't send his that way then supposedly ups couldn't find his address he said but it said on the box that a drew heller refused the package and then i got it back and shipped it back to him and he got it and then started Calling me names and saying i didn't pack the ball well enough and that he would be ashamed to send a ball like mine to anyone but i have three witnesses that said it was mint when it was sent.  The two i got from him the threat had had the thumb plugged twice and he didn't tell me about the damage spot on it that on the purple ball he had tried to clear plug and it was full of air bubbles on the repair.  The thumb hole was drilled all the way through to the weight hole.  the revmaster the plug was barely worked down and made the ball have a big lump on it and the bridge and everything was cracked and he had told me they were in mint shape but the both were so bad they had to resurfaced before use and were the wrong weight that he had described

Yeah, looks like I'm out $35.00 he basically STOLE, and axeweldr is out more than that cause he didn't get what he was asking for either ball because he covered the re-shipment costs!  This guy must be a real BUM!

What stormerjip is saying about the balls he got is true.  I now have the Rev and, with lots of work, it is good enough to bowl with, altough it does not look that great.  I have traded with holdembowler.  He waited until he got my ball before he sent mine, which kind of agrovated me, but what I recived was exactly as describbed.  Come on Drew, make things right!!!!

Want to make sure everyone knows I'm not "slammin" John! He just made a minor mistake in shipping. IF this guy Drew would do what's right, we'd all be OK! I've had deals with a few people on here, this is the first problem I've had!
