i posted a ball for sale or trade
he responds with a nice offer of 2 ball for my 1
then proceeds to retract offer and wants cash only after his ipod was up for sale or trade and i offered him my pearl break + cash for it.
come to find out he was dealing with someone else for the same ball who was trying to trade me for it. was a whole messed up deal. my point here is
dont respond to a UP FOR SALE OR trade post here and make offer only to take 3 days and then decide nawwwwwwwwwwwww forget it, its bad business, i didnt ask for the deal and ball is still up for trade or sale to anyone interested.
LULZ is just one of them people who cant make up his mind on what he wants to do. BEFORE MAKING an offer make sure its a trade u want to do. or decide if cash is more important to you before entering into a trade offer

A true valid excuse would forgive the 3 day grace period for me, but then....when do you put a stop on the "oh....let me see and wait 3 days and then say I was out of town" excuses given time and time again.
In the end, it's called consideration!! And too many people don't have it.

Remember the old rule
"Only deal with people that have a profile, or a standing rep."
I can see both sides:
1. It doesn't take 3 days to talk about buying a used ball.
2. put pending on the listing, if someone comes up offers to buy
send the other guy a message, then sell it if he doesn't reply.
3. Gaps between communication. 3 days at the most, that allows for weekends
or some vacation.
We also jump to speak ill of someone just because they changed their mind. You have not lost anything other than time, and if it is that precious to you, you probably shouldn't be wasting it on this site.
I read Bowlingnut's first line and thought that he got you for your balls and your money, but he just changed his mind lol

he MADE OFFER of 2 for 1 and i agreed
then he lolly gags around for days and days
only to decide OHHH nevermind i want cash,
U SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT about that before making the offer
christ on a crutch. im with jkiser im just gonna with people that have good ratings and people i know. the rest can take a leap.

I agree. It happens. It's not the end of the world either, so why freak out? Have a little respect for your fellow man. Keep in mind that some people have it worse than others, and stuff comes up unexpectedly.
I know a certain someone who has had my name flagged for years now because something came up after I said I wanted whatever he was selling and I had to back out.
I say if neither parties lose anything to where charges would need to be filed, just let it go. You don't have to sit around and whine about it. We all understand your pain, now pick your chin up and move on.
