Nine days and no contact is NOT A VERY GOOD THING! If the seller was going away he should have notified you when he got your payment! If he is sick and restricted from using a computer .. it's possible but tough to believe with your response time prior to payment.. can't think of reasons where someone is available for SELLING and disappears once a deal/payment is made!

If the amount involved is 'no more' then $50-$60 .. I'd be a little more patient (say 3 days) .. higher amounts I'd be looking to STOP my payment! Nine days of REFUSAL TO ANSWER is a little too much .. in my opinion!
