Triggerman...Beware
« on: November 01, 2004, 02:13:20 PM »
I recently attempted a transaction with Mr. Chris Trigg og Ligonier, Indiana that went bad on his part. On 10/12, he contacted me and offered a ball plus $40 for a Brunswick Purple Fuze and X-Zone. I agreed and he said that he would ship and put a money order in the bottom of the package with the ball. I agreed. I shipped his balls the very next day as agreed (10/13) and sent him a tracking number and he was suppose to do the same. I messaged him on 10/14 and inquired as to if he had shipped and he said that due to work, he could not get to the UPS store but that he had called for UPS pickup for 10/14 and he would forward me a tracking number same day. On 10/15 after inquiry again, he sent a tracking number and specifically stated that the ball and money order were on the way. I did receive the ball on 10/20 but there was no money order enclosed. I immediately messaged him about this and he did reply same day and said he swore he put money order in box but would look when he got home. He also inquired and stated that both balls that I sent him were damaged (cracked bridge and gash on other). I specifically checked the balls before they were sent and I observed no damage. However, giving him the benefit of the doubt, I agreed to help him file a claim if necessary. On 10/21, again after inquiry from me, he messaged and said that he found the money order at home and would mail out on 10/22. On 10/24, I messaged him and asked him if he had mailed the money order on 10/22 as he stated. He messaged on 10/25 and said that he had car trouble but that he had mailed it out on that morning (10/25). Ok, I was patient due to how things can happen, even with all of the "circumstances." I waited a week and as of this date, no money order. Even the ball only took 5 days to arrive. I sent him a message on 11/1 and explained my suspicions with this transaction and requested a response before I posted on him or proceeded further. I saved to my sent messages si that I would know when he got it. He received the message but refused to respond. Therefore, I am left with no other option but to consider this a bad transaction due to Mr. Trigg's refusal to respond and his continuosly changing "circumstances." It just doesn't all add up. I gave him every benefit of the doubt but the end result has proven that he has been quite deceptive to this point. If this situation is resoleved, I will repost. I have had a good transaction with him in the past but this one has gone south as others have also posted. However, my advice to others on this site is to AVOID TRIGGERMAN AT ALL COSTS.

I can only speak for myself but I did a deal with Triggerman and all went fine.  Hopefully all will work out for all involved.

Update...as of this date, 9 full days after Triggerman posted he would follow up on the money order and he woul get mailed out last week, I have received no contact or money order. Furthermore, during shipment on another deal, UPS location advised me that they had received and was processing this claim for Chris Trigg (aka Triggerman). He will receive monetary imbursement for the damage he claimed, but he did not follow through on his word and end of the deal to this point. I don't think it too much to just expect a gent to be honest or respopnsible for his end of a deal. I will repost if this deal is completed.

Ok Chris....You got to admit that I have been very patient and cooperative to this point. Like I stated before, just seems to ALWAYS be an excuse and that get's to be annoying. Empty promises time after time get old and all I expect from anyone is to uphold their word. This has been going on just way too long. Youi post and make a statement/promise openly and then AGAIN you don't come through for some excuse. It's just irritating to me as it would be to anyone else. I am understanding to your situation but why make promises you don't keep? I just don't understand. The money is not the issue at this time (although we all could use it) but it's the principle.

Ok, I guess everyone can see the truth to this matter Chris. Another week goes by and no end to this situation and no communication. If it means nobody else will get screwed by you on this site, then keep the money (Even though I believe you were going to anyway). I would rather lose a little than have some else lose alot. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY!!!!

Yeah I have also had a bad deal with this guy.  I purchased a used lane#1 pearl carbide from him/his brother on Ebay and never received the ball.  I messaged him and he had excuse after excuse.  He finally said he would send the ball or my money back whichever I prefer and I told him i would rather just have my $25 back since the ball was 2  drill anyway and I had too many balls as it is.  So i have still never received the money or ball.   It doesn't bother since its only $25 but its the principal of the situation.  I would stay away if anyone is considering dealing with him.

It was supposedly his brothers ID that passed away, now I am not trying to be mean but i don't know if that happened or not since i have never gotten the honest facts form this guy but the id i purchased from is cadman1967.  It was however suppose to be Chris Triggs ball or whatever his name is. Hope this helps but that name is no longer on Ebay don't know if triggerman uses one or not.

Just wanted to let everyone who is thinking about dealing with or has dealt with triggerman that he finally paypaled me the $25.  It was echeck and took time to clear but had done so and is in my account.  I still personally can't recommend him but he appears to be rectifying his problems on here and trying to fix his reputaion.  Just remember its a whole lot easier to mess a rep up than it is to fix it.

Well, I have viewed your post Triggerman. However, Here it is 9 days later......again... and still I have not received your payment. Therefore, I still warn all who consider a transaction with Mr. Chris Trigg aka Triggerman, to take into consideration that he has not fulfilled his end of our deal as stated on many occasions. However, I do applaud you for completing your responsibilities with others on site. Just wish i was one of them.

OK, update... read Traiggerman's post from 1/13/2005 and he stated that I would receive payment by the following weekend. lol As expected, it never came through. I posted an update 1/23/2005 of his committment (again) and incompletion (again). All of this following messages that the money order would be sent out, and was sent out in the mail. As usual, a lie. However, he had the dinero to purchase a ball from MyBWA. No offense to MyBWA, I am glad he got his money. This guy just doesn't know truthfulness if you ask me. He messaged me again today, 1/27/2205 that he would be getting me my money quickly and at the first of February at latest. Well, as usual, I believe this to be another line of crap. Please, my fellow longtime site members, avoid this guy at all costs and if you don't, ALWAYS get your money up front and then ship. However, I wouldn't pass up any other opportunities to sell something waiting on Triggerman. He is deceptive and misleading.
