I really don't know where to start, so I am just going to lay out the timeline of how everything has happened.

Tuesday, May 15th, I message him to see if he can still get gargoyles, specifically a Violet, 1st quality, NIB, 2-3 pin. He writes back and says yes, we agree on a price, and I paypal him the funds at the email address he gave me. I message him on here to say funds, sent, he write back saying he received it. Writes later to say ball was ordered,  and it usually takes 2-3 days to get to him, and since he is in Indiana, probably 1-2 days to get to me. I say OK, let everything go till I get home from St Louis...and this is where all the fun starts.

Monday, May 21st, I message him to see if he has shipped or received the ball yet, he states the ball is being delivered today from FedEx, if it gets here soon enough, he will ship it out today, if not he will ship tomorrow. OK I ask in i return a tracking number when shipped.

Tuesday, May 22nd, I message him to see if the ball shipped, he said no, its going today. No problem, I once again ask for a tracking number when sent.

Wednesday may 23rd, I message him to get the tracking number, he states he shipped the ball did ship yesterday, but he left the tracking info at home and he would send it to me tonite after league. I say OK...I check on here around 11 PM eastern, no message.

Thursday, may 24th. I write him telling him if I don't have a vaild tracking number today, the ball today as it only takes UPS 2 days from Indiana to Ohio, or a Paypal refund, I was going to post negative feedback on here. He immediately says the ball did ship, (but he never gave me the original trackign number) but he realized that he shipped me the wrong ball. He ordered 4 balls when he ordered mine, and 1 was a 14# Violet, and that is the ball he sent me by accident, so he called UPS, and sent an intercept to get that ball stopped and he sent me a tracking number for a package to be shipped yesterday for next day delivery to me. here is the tracking number 1Z44R7R21390099223. I checked it, it was a vaild tracking number, so I didn't post anything considering it was getting shipped. So, I check the tracking info today, it still says Billing Info received, which means they do not have the package. When you print your own labels online, this is what it says when you print the labels before you drop the package off. So that means the package was not received by them. I message trigg and he says he dropped it off last nite and he is going to be mad if it does not get to me today, which he guaranteed it would get to me today, yesterday.

SO....we message each other and he says he is going to call the place he dropped it off at, he messages back sayign they are going to scan it soon, is Saturday delivery ok? I said Ok, but thats different from what the label says. The label says next day air saver, which only runs Monday-Friday, and due to the holiday, it would only get to me Tuesday...I did not hear back from him.

I check the tracking info around 330, and low and behold, the info has changed from "Billing Info Received" to "Billing Info Voided". Which means the shipment label has been voided. He has still not sent me a message back with a new tracking number OR a note on what is going on.

At this point, I said I either want the ball immediatley, a working tracking number that shows the ball is shipped,  or I will accept a full refund. I want nothing more than what I am entilted to.

Additionally, after talking with a few friends, he has had issues in shipping to other users on here as well. I spoke with one last week in St Louis, and he told me he got a run around on the tracking and shipping of a ball (before any of this happened to me) and ended up NEVER getting a tracking number, but got a full refund. I also got word today, from another user who this happened to..if either of them want to chime in, they can, but I will NOT reveal their identity on here myself.

I DO NOT like making any negative posts, but I feel I have got the run around too long at this point.

Once I receive ANYTHING, I will update with positive or negative info.

Clint

Clint,
I sent a pm to you, the tracking number is in there
1Z 44R 7R2 03 9849 487 2
I also stated in the pm that i would refund the profit i made on the ball back to you, I dropped this ball off yesterday with a next day air on it, ups did not process it out, I then went back today and discussed with them, I was going to send it out for a saturday delivery but that would have ran an additional 28$ beyond the 47 I had already spent for the next day air saver, I had them void the next day air saver and then process it as a groud shipment (tuesday for next day air saver, weds for ground)

I had trouble getting this ball out, and that was all clearly my fault, I am in the process of changing jobs and been trying to ship out a ton of stuff, and none of it went as planned so, the right thing for me to do is give Clint the ball at cost, which i will do

Wow. Well, let me say this. I am not one of the people clint is referring to that he has talked with and had similar shipping issues with Trigg. However, after reading all that I feel I need to share my first experience with him as well.

I placed a small order with Triggerman on 5/7/07 and paid instant via paypal. He stated he received the payment and would ship via **Priorty(2-3 day)Mail** the next day(5/8/07). After waiting 6 days and not recieving my order, I messaged him on 5/14 asking if he really sent the order **Priorty**. He responded the next day on 5/15 stating that he sent them first class instead. If I did not recieve the order the next day, he would resend the order tomorrow via **Priorty Mail** with delivery conformation.

I messaged him back the next evening(5/16) to let him know the order still wasn't here. He responded and said he would resend again this time **Priorty** as stated previously.

Well, on 5/22 niether order had arrived yet. So I pm him again and ask if he is sure he sent them to the right address. This was way more time than it should take. He responded:

quote:

yep that is the address, i confirmed it to the paypal receipt i printed out, I will refund your money and when the grips get there, if you are so inclined, you can pay me then

I really did not think it was his fault until seeing this thread and that others are having issues with shipping as well. Hence my response:

No need to refund the money. Your rep speaks for itself and I know its not your fault. I just absolutely HATE usps. The money was little to nothing, I just was trying to hold out drilling my new equipment until I got the inserts to try. They did not arrive in todays mail either. I will keep you updated.

That was on 5/23 and they have still not arrived in todays mail(5/25).

I have not lost anything in this deal except time. However, I had no doubt in my mind about his reputation on this site.....until now. I don't believe he ever shipped either of the orders now. If they do arrive, I will pay him the money again, but learn from this experience and do business elsewhere next time.

Well...my tracking number is a good number and shows the ball is coming via ground delivery and has been shipped! Once here, I will update with positive feedback for the ball arriving.

Thanks!

guys I will take my beating for anything that is my fault, with clint yes it was indeed my fault by trying to do to much in too short of a time frame, I made a good faith attempt and did a next day air to clint at my expense, dropped the ball off at the ups terminal around 6 pm yesterday, and it did not go, so i reissued.  as far as the slugs, i sent two of them out first set went usps first class mail, second set went priority, i hardly ever have trouble with the small stuff thru the mail, in fact i sent 3 shirt orders out at the same time and they all made it to their locations.  as he had waited so long i just refunded the money, told him if they got there and he felt so inclined to pay for them, didnt say he had to just said if he felt inclined to do so

growing pains along with some other issues not related perse to selling have hampered me(the biggesty being not able to stock a lot of items) but hopefully those are behind me and i can move forward, mainly being able to purchase stuff prior to buyers payment, that will help speed up, and getting my ups on a daily pick up will certainly help as well, not an excuse but one way to terminal if i cannot catch the driver in my area is approx 30 miles, so i tend to make one or two trips aweek which leads to delays

I am usually very prompt with shipping items, most items takes two days to reach me and i try very hard to get it out the third day, sometimes i cant, hopefully it will be better in the future, the past two-three weeks have been tough scheduling wise

I deserve the beatings but hopefully have mde it right with all,

I had an experience with Triggerman, that had a satisfactory result, but in my opinion the communication left something to be desired.  I wanted to buy a used C300 Black Messenger from Triggerman.  I was having trouble using PayPal (all my fault), and he was very patient with me.  I also wanted him to plug and redrill the ball for me.  Here is where the communication started to slide a bit.  I finally asked if the ball had been drilled and was ready to ship when he informed me that someone new was working in his shop and did some damage to the press.  Ok, no problem.  The ball was finally drilled, and again, there was no communication about the shipping.  I asked for a tracking number and there was some excuse about leaving it in the car or something similar.  I followed up a couple days later and when he finally returned my message, he told me that it was damaged with a forklift by UPS.  It took him a couple of days, but he did refund my money.  He said that he would send pictures of the damaged ball if I wanted and sent him a PM indicating that I wanted the pictures, and I left him an e-mail address.  I never received the photos.

In the end, I did receive my refund.  However, in my opinion the communication left an awful lot to be desired.  I realize that things happen in life outside of bowling, but all I ask is for good communication.

clint......seems you like Visionary equipment.  Why not join the Test Staff program and deal directly with Visionary?

I too have had comunication issues with him, along with shipping issues.... I ordered a shirt/towel on May 8th, and just the 25th got a tracking number, which I was told that would be overnight. its not it is regular ground.... This delay in shipping leads into a problem with me reshipping the shirt to overseas, which I did message triggerman about and was told he was going to send me the difference in shipping to get the shirt there in time for a tournament that the guy ordered it for. Have to use faster delivery service which in turn drove the price of shipping up... not something I figured into the price. He did state that he would make it right, but why was this not taken care of in a timely manner.. Also to date, and I asked him to have it to me by the time the shirt arrived to me (tuesday) I have not received any funds to back up what he said he was going to do.

With all the problems he has had in this post I thought I would post too... just to let all know.  I will let everyone know if he does or does not send the difference.

I can see a few days delay, because of work or something but 3 weeks delay is just totally not right....

I have used other sellers on here that sell Lane #1 equipment and had a 3 day delay and they were right on the ball with comunication and even sent extra stuff because of the delay.....Thats customer service, which I will be going back to when I buy in the future....
