Trouble yet to be solved with ASB
« on: July 17, 2008, 11:52:32 AM »
heres the situation:

a month ago i won 2 auctions with ASB, paid them after communicating with Joe that i need finger inserts and Joe charged me an extra $30 dollar for 20.

then Joe was virtually gone for 2-3 weeks, and after i opened a dispute on paypal he finally answers.

At the resolution center, i stated clearly that if i see progress on the shipping, i will close the dispute and i did so after seeing that the status on the ups website is "out for delivery".

now, a month after i made my payment, i received the balls. however, the finger inserts is not in the package...

msged Joe, and you guys can guess the result... yep, he never answered back.

i was wondering, if i close a dispute on paypal, can i re-open it? are Joe's auction worth trying again? its been a month and i went from trusting Joe to doubt about his actions.

When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment

When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one.

I've seen so many bad posts about this guy, but in every one of them, somebody posts they've never had any problems with him.  Not sure if those are his lackies or not.  But you've had a bad experience w/him, so why do it to yourself again?  Like the saying that GW messed up goes "Fool me once, shame on you.  Fool me twice, shame on me."  So basically it's your money, your risk.  As for getting your finger inserts, I'd keep calling, emailing, pm-ing, posting bad feedbacks & keep pestering until you get what you ordered. Like another saying goes, "The squeaky wheel gets the grease."  Good luck.

Top this thread until the matter gets resolved. Despite great prices I've steered clear of this vendor.

I'm not giving an excuse .. and I'm not defending anyone .. I'm just providing facts.

Not too long ago Joe married a gal he had been seeing for a while. The preparation for the wedding and the actual honeymoon took time to plan and do! When did this happen .. I don't remember the actual time but it was this year!

Now Joe's new wife had to go in for surgery. That happened Tuesday! I'm not sure how things went I haven't heard from him since it happened.

Yes .. someone out there is going to say .. so what! I'm only supplying known information. Do with it as you wish!

Yea, I've already lost a couple of balls dealing with ASB I can't trust those guys anymore.  I don't know who's responsible, but I can't just keep tossing money to the wind like that.  ASB has lost credibility for me.

I had an issue awhile back with them as well.  Basically, it took almost 3 weeks to get a ball that I won from them (after paying within 5 minutes of winning).  I sent numerous emails and got no responses.  I finally had to file a dispute with PayPal before I got any kind of communication.  I was going to give them another try (as they have some good prices on the Morich stuff I'm looking at) but, this post reminds me of the problems that I had with ASB and I don't want to go thru that again.  Thanks for bringing me back to my senses!
