i have thrown this ball on many conditions and i have found out that it hates oil, but when this ball is used on drier lanes it is the BOMB!! Its got a smooth reaction and doesnt jerk when it hits dry boards. I drilled this ball with a 4 in pin from my pap and a 75 degree mass bias. This ball is the best i have ever thrown on a short sport contition. This is the first ball out of my bag in a towrnament because it is so predictable.  If u need a go to ball this is it!!!!

I was very impressed with the Hero.  I was looking for something to get down the lane on league conditions, yet still have hitting power - and this is it!  The people at Circle Athletics have figured out that you don't need to reinvent the wheel - they came out with a ball that is both user friendly and ball driller friendly.  Simple, classic weight block style that is easy to drill and more importantly - consistent for the bowler no matter how it is drilled.  Rolls as well with label type drillings as it does with the off label stuff.  However, don't run to it if you are looking for big hook.  This is not a highly agressive cover stock, but it sure works great for leagues and somewhat drier conditions.

I gotta say, I love this bowling ball!  I've got a Hero with about a 2" pin located just to the right of my ring finger and cg slightly kicked at about 25-30 degrees.

The hero is fairly mild and gets well through the heads, and even pretty long through the mids, and it makes a predictable flip at the end.  It's a great ball for reading breakpoints, and will go straight enough to make spares easier as well.  It is by no means a big hooking bowling ball.  It works great for me on most sport and pba patterns, and light to medium oil house shots.

The Hero carries as well as any ball I've owned.  It gives me a great angle into the pocket when I play the gutter with it.  I haven't played in with it much yet, so we'll have to see how it does on inside lines.

This is my go to ball, and I gotta give it an A grade, 96%.  Great ball Circle Athletics!!!

The Hero is one of those balls you have to have in a tournament arsenal.  The Hero can be used on short oil patterns and when the track starts to hook.  The Hero gives you a look on these patterns like some of your more aggressive balls give you on fresher or longer patterns.  My Hero is drilled on label with the pin 4" from my axis and no hole.  I have used it polished when the heads started to dry up and I have used it at 1000 grit sanded for fresh heads and shorter patterns.  I have used it on the 35ft and 37ft PBA patterns.  On the 35ft pattern I used the Hero with 1000 grit surface, it was clean through the heads with great control on the back with plenty of energy to strike consistently.  On the 37ft pattern I used the same Hero but shined it up, it was very clean through the fronts which created more angle and more energy in the back.  The Hero is very versatile and think it would help just about anybody.

I used this ball in a tournament the other day.  I can tell you that this ball is a awsome ball for short oil.  The pattern was about 35ft.  Dry outside with some oil inside but not alot.  I have mine drilled 3 7/8 x 3 7/8.  Pin is under the RF and the CG is about a 1/4 inche below Grip Center.  The lanes started out dry so the Hero was the first ball I went to.  This ball is very predictable and will not jump on you like others.  This balls rolls extremely smooth through the heads even though the heads were dry to start out with.  If you want a comparasion to a big company ball there were alot of people using the V2 Dry.  This ball in my opinion carried alot better then the V2 dry.  Do not be afraid to buy a Circle Athletic product they are very good.  I have bought every ball with the exception of the Mega Idol because it would just overlap.  Thanks Paul for all of you help,  Great job Circle Team.
