The Authority utilizes a brand-new asymmetric core shape that enables the Authority to change directions harder when it encounters friction and boy does it ever.  The C300 Authority has provided me with strong and more continuous down-lane response.
 
My initial review on the house conditions in one word was "awesome".  The ball was very strong and continuous as expected and carry was tremendous.  I then used the Authority on a couple different Challenge Patterns and quickly became impressed with shape I was seeing.   I then became curious to see the shape and motion with some surface on the ball, so I touched it with a 3000 pad to break the finish.  I saw more read in the mid lane and still had the same strong and continuous down lane response.  If you are looking for a strong asymmetrical pearl with versatility the Authority is for you.  Visit your local Pro Shop Operator and get yours now!!!!

Went 55x4.75x50 (pin barely above the bridge) on my Authority with the intention of retiring my Kingpin Gold with a newer top shelf asym pearl that was hopefully not too skid/flippy.
My first outing was on our fresh slick house shot and I didn't like it.  The Authority seemed a bit lazy in that it was a little too long and just didn't quite recover down the lane in the way I wanted yet stood up too quick when I got to the friction sooner.  Solids like my Omni and duller options like the Notorious just blended the wet/dry type pattern better.  I then hit it with 4k and brought it out to bowl on our challenge patterns which although are slick just aren't as soupy.
The Authority came alive on these flatter patterns and I had great looks playing up the track on 44' Route 66 along with opening up my angles later in the block on 41' Beaten Path and 39' Middle Road.
I would consider the Authority a ball with medium length and a slightly above average move on the backend - definitely one of the most controllable asym pearls that I have thrown and definitely a stronger, grippier cover than any of my symmetrics including my Blood Red Jab.  The Authority gives me the kind of shape that doesn't necessarily impress in bowling ball videos but provides the control necessary to score. 
I recommend the Authority to bowlers who are speed/rev matched or even rev dominant who are looking for a strong ball that will work as a step down from their top hook monsters (Prism Warp, Zing Solid in my case).
