LANE CONDITION

Length:

Volume:

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc): THS

COMMENTS

Likes:  For a shiny ball this ball has a very consistent controlled ball motion.  I can pick this ball up out of bag when the lanes are transistioning and I am looking for something to clear the heads but have some pop on the back end.  The New Era cover on this ball does really give it that clean motion.

Dislikes:  As a low rev rate player I don't get to throw this ball much.  Usually can throw it on the burn or if the THS plays dryer.  So really my only dislike is I don't get to throw it more!  ;)

LANE CONDITION

Length: 41'

Volume: 23.51

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc): sport

COMMENTS

Likes: easy length, arcing backends

Dislikes: OBB cover was a dud. took off polish down to 2000 dull. added factory finish polish and the ball came alive.

PICTURES AND/OR VIDEOS

drilled this ball 50 x 4.5 x 60 specifically for medium patterns
puts the pin below my fingers, pretty much right in the middle
easy length, very arcing and continuous motion downlane.
with OBB finish off the ball, it rolls very much like the video where Barnes is throwing it.
I have not yet thrown this ball with a dull cover

The Columbia 300 Eruption is my all-time favorite bowling ball! So naturally when I saw the Disruption that uses the same weight block with a new cover stock I had to drill it! The new cover on the Disruption is noticeably strong in the midlane and overall covers more boards. When my Eruption is skidding a little too far down lane I can go to the Disruption and stay in the same part of the lane. It’s great for those medium to lighter oil lane conditions. #LetsBowl

Likes:      The Disruption is the end result of building on top of success.  Columbia took the successful Resurgence core and added the New Era cover stock to make a ball that is not only affordable but one you can’t afford to be without.  Mine is drilled 45 x 5 x 75 with the pin about an inch below my middle finger.  I have found that on the THP’s that I’ve come across, the best surface to use is shiny.  The layout gives me an even roll and consistency through the mid-lane without the loss of hitting power.

Dislikes:  None
