Extreme Chaos

The Extreme Chaos is Columbia 300’s newest TEC (Texture Energy Control) ball.  Extreme Chaos is available in Black Cherry with Yellow/Orange engraving and is available in weights of 10-16 lbs.  The Extreme Chaos is Columbia’s newest TEC (Texture Energy Control) coverstock ball featuring microscopic particles in SuperFlex Resin for added traction.  The Extreme Chaos goes longer than Chaos with a stronger backend reaction.  It has a higher RG (2.565) to help it go further down the lane and a medium differential RG (.043) to create 4-6 inches of flare.  The TEC surface has been modified from the original Chaos to project the Extreme Chaos through the track as it dries up due to lane play.  The new TEC surface is easier to polish which creates more length and a stronger backend finish.  The Extreme Chaos has a C.A.T.S. hook rating of 22.

I absolutely hated this ball. It was very inconsistant. When it got to the pocket strong there would always be a 7 pin standing. A SEVEN PIN???

It did bring good length as opposed to the Black Chaos, but nowhere near the hit or controllability.

This ball was a 4 out of 10 and this is probably inflated a bit

A lot of people are saying this ball's losing its hook. Well for me even after 2 years it still hooks way too much. I hate it I hate I hate it!!!!! Either that or I hate the pro shop that drilled it for me!!!! I can't decide!
