OK, I'll be the first to post on this ball.

Got my ball the other day, and now I have about 6 games on it, so this will be just a quick thought.
Drilled this one 4 x 4 with a 1 1/2 in pin buffer. Ball started out 15 lbs  3 oz, 3-4 in pin ( more closer to 3, than to 4) and a little over 3 oz top.
After drawing all the pretty lines on the ball, the lay out ended being pin about an inch away from ring finger, cg kicked out to the right. Xtra hole needed.
First thing I notice with this ball and layout I decided to go with is that this thing hooks. The reaction isn't as sharp as I first thought it would be, but I am very happy with it. It easily reads the lane, and you can make the proper adjustments without any real thought to it. The colors of this ball are an eye catcher, and the reaction had people watching.
In my opinion this ball out hooks the Wrath High Flush, and is a great compliment to the entire line that Columbia has released since the beginning of the new ERA.
Congratulations to Chad Murphy and his entire staff for coming up with this ball.
I will post another review after I have more games on this ball, I would strongly suggest getting this ball, it will fit into your arsenal very comfortably.

I to drilled this ball up last weekend. The info read on this ball is that it is designed for medium to dry conditions. unfortunately, i haven't been able to throw it on the dry condition as of yet, but a medium-dry i have.

which puts the pin in a negative position

this layout was chosen to give me more length down the lane with a clean reaction toward the pocket. i will say, i deffinitely got the desired reaction from this layout on this ball. ball is very straight and clean through the heads. and then the transition move is very suttle and calm allowing me to play the 7 board from the 10. on the fresh oil, it allows me to play a tight line to the pocket playing 15 to 13. so far, i am thoroughly satisfied with this ball and layout. on that medium-dry condition, i was able to play 15 to 5 as long as i grabbed at the ball a little on the bottom of my forward swing.

if you are wanting a ball that will give you some area of play when they start to dry out a little, this ball would be a great choice. good luck out there and many high games in the future!

ball definetely goes very long and is very controlable especially when the shot breaks down.Now that being said,as the shot breaks down this ball comes to life on steroids! This ball plays broke down like your A ball in your   A game. after I figured this out I shot 277 and 300 in league last night so don't be afraid to give it some room,it'll come back.Very good ball good carry.

I just drilled the ball last night and Im very impressed.

I laided it out pin under ring finger cg kicked 1 1/2 to right extra hole was needed.

First night of league I throw my Rival to much ball for where I wanted to play. Throw the Dead Flush the same line. The ball was clean threw the heads and had some nice backend recovery 1st game 222. This is a second shift league so moving left and pumping up the speed was needed dropped to a 196. Keep movig found the line again 234. Spent 100 on the ball and made 77 in league with the ball.

What I saw from this ball was a clean threw the heads look and nice recovery with a continuous drive through the pins. For the price range its a lot of ball.

Looking for a ball for a second shift league or for when the front of the lane really breaks down.  This is the ball for you.  That being said, it was a little too oil sensitive at the OOB Surface, so I took the surface down to 2000 and then polished it w/ Magic Shine.  This made the ball much more predictable at the breakpoint although it still doesn't like oil too much.  This ball gets through the front very clean because the coverstock is a little harder than most reactives, has a late midlane read and a strong but predictalbe backend.  I wouldn't really call it a flip, but it does make the turn hard enough to carry the corners from inside angles.  

The big thing with this ball (with this layout) was that it needs a well defined friction spot downlane to throw to.  If that doesn't exist, don't try it.  This ball does not like carrydown very much, but gives you a cleaner look through the front part of the lane than perhaps any reactive ball I've thrown.  It has the standard Columbia read the late midlane in this case and finish which makes it more predictable than some of the skid/flip monsters out there.  I took it to a house that hadn't oiled the lanes in about 2 days (didn't know it at the time) and this was the only ball in my bag other than my plastic spare ball that I could get to the right side of the head pin.  

I think this ball will work very well on wood lanes or synthetics that have been around for a while.  That being said, I still think this ball is a little too oil sensitive.  The final verdict on that will happen when I take it to the pro shop to get the thumb fixed and then take it to the one wood house we have in town to see if I want to keep it around or try a Loud Noize to fill this spot.

Bought this ball used.  It has been one of the best balls I have ever owned.  Great for when the lanes are breaking down and can hit the house shot well.  Clears the head well and has a strong, predicatble backend.  I have my ball drilled with pin above the fingers.
