Super Trooper saves the day! Its controlled performance inspires even the casual bowler. With the extremely popular Rock On core body, no flip blocks and a lower Rg to create less flare. Count on an earlier roll with a smooth backend reaction. Its Super-Flex coverstock is impressively sharp in polished black/violet with silver sparkle logo. And a great value to boot. Territorial on medium to dry lanes, this Super Trooper plays for keeps.

I've been throwing a wow for some time now and needed a good ball for dry lanes and decided to give the super Trooper a try. I got the ball the first day it came out on the market and received it with a 2 1/2" pin and had it placed 1/4 of a inch to the right of my ring finger. I throw a fairly slow ball. I waited untill my fav alley had their lanes at the dryiest and could not believe how this ball reacted. I did have to move over 5 more boards on my approach. The backend action was smooth and but strong. Out of the box I scored a 184,226,259. Not quite the 700 series but not bad for a ball I knew nothing about and I'm sure I will do better the next time I need to pull it out of the bag. This ball isnt suppose to react good in oil but I will still try it once just to see what happens...for 119 dollars I would say the ball is well worth the money

Drilled - 5x3, Pin over Ring,
Cg kicked out, xHole on PAP
Coverstock - Box condition

I was told this is Columbia's Beast replacement. Its close but not exactly a Beast reaction. My Beasts hooked alot on the backend, almost flippy. The Super Trooper is smoother more controlled and more even rolling/revving. This ball lets me straighten up even on old wood lanes. It loves strong backends, evens out the skid/jerk most other balls would give you. The carry is above average as long as theres friction down the lane. Carrydown gives this ball the most trouble, only players with alot of roll will have success. Leave this ball in the bag on heavier patterns, theres alot better choices.

The price tag is as low as reactives can come. A great entry level, or a control ball for those that have trouble controlling other reactive balls. I been using it alot locally on house conditions, but I'll definitely have it for tournaments when I need to go straighter.

The Super Trooper is a great ball. Just remember when you are looking at balls, every ball should work well as long as it is drilled well. My ball is drilled to go long and arc into the pocket. I not a snap, it just arcs into the pins. If you keep your speed down it should carry nearly every corner pin. If your speed get up, it will still come back, just the angle will be different which might leave corner pins. Overall a great ball.

Drilled: Labelled with pin 1/2 inch right of Ring
Box condition
Lane Condition:Medium

I bought this ball as my first ball to learn to throw a hook. The pro shop owner highley recommended it and it came at a good price(170(CDN) drilled with inserts and towel) I let the pro shop owner drill it the way he though best for me. I'm a stroker with medium speed. The ball hooks very nicely with a big arc. I throw it to board 8 and it comes back to the pocket. For my first ball i bowled a 193 with using it for the fifth time and have yet to bowl under 100 with it. I recommend this ball to anyone wanting to learn to hook or looking for  a first ball.

i am a dyno-thane fan. but i got convinced into buying a super trooper about a month and a half ago, and i was impressed with the smooth reaction i got out of it, and it hit like a truck. i shot 823 with it the first week i had it. when the track starts to burn, the ball dosent over react.
so far i have shot 823, 801 and a 299 Game (solid 8 pin). all with the super trooper.
damn good ball, but dynothane is where my heart is. but i will reccommend it to everyone and anyone.

This is my first review of a ball.  I love this ball. I am a 183 aver.bowler who has to constantly fight the hook.  With this ball I finally feel like I am in control.  It is very predictable and I can use it on different lane conditions.  I have had it for about two months and have yet to bowl less than a 600 series.  I even can make a ten pin with the Super Trooper.  Why pay big prices when results speak for themself.  I would tell anyone to try this ball because rarely do I not strike when I hit the head pin.  It's almost unfair.

Specs:
15lb 3oz
3 inch pin
3.25 top

Layout:
6 x 5
Pin over middle finger
Cg kicked out
X-hole 6.5 inches over

This ball is great when the lanes are medium to dry. The ball goes long and makes its move to the pocket. It hit hard just like its siblings. I would recommend having one of these in your bag when traveling to tournaments.

This ball is Great!!

I have a 207 ave and i recently Moved from 14lb to 15lb equipment.
This ball is great on most condictions, have mine drilled for a strong arc and it does just that!
Shot my First 300 with this ball a few weeks ago and every shot was solid.
I also found this ball reacts well to finger position changes and release changes.
A very good all round Ball.

I've had this ball for a little over a year now, and I just love the thing.  I'm a right-handed cranker, throw 16-18 mph, stand center and usually swing it out to about the 5 board.  This is a beautifully arcing 16lb ball.  I don't know that much about drilling yet, but the pin is a little above and to the right of my ring finger.  As my release isn't always consistent, this ball really helps me out with it's forgiveness.  Lay it down a little inside, and it flattens out.  Swing it a little outside, and she comes back in nicely.  The only thing I've noticed she won't do is go brooklyn if I miss too far inside; she just straightens way out instead and hits Splitsville.  (that's my release's fault though)

This thing hits like a (cliched) ton of bricks.  I can't imagine another ball in this price range hitting like this one does.  It's my first ball out, and also my favorite.  My goal last year was to average 200+.  I finished 207, and am carrying 210+ this year already.  I've shot my high of 296 with it last year, as well as an 11-in-a-row 279.  This year I've has a 752 with it, and two 770's (strung 18 with one of them--back 8, front 10).  I know this sounds like bragging, but a lot of it is due to finding THE ball that matches up with my style.

With the performance of this ball in relation to the price, I don't know why more people aren't throwing it.
