I was very Excited to throw the Blur Solid since it features the same overstock (Full-Tilt 5.0) as one of my most favorite balls of all time, the Full Swing. First thing that should be noted about this ball is that the entire Blur line is supposed to fit in between the mid-performance line (Eruptions) and the lower-mid performance line (Freezes) and while the Blur Hybrid holds very close to being an equal with the Freezes, the Blur Solid has quite a bit more muscle downlane. The Solid cover gets into a roll a little quicker even with pin up drillings and from my experience, it gets into a heavier roll as well. This ball is so comparable to the Full swing its almost scary. It's like the hard-hitting little brother the Full Swing needed for when the lanes started getting a touch too dry. So far I have thrown mine on your THS as well as the new 47ft PBA Scorpion pattern. I planned on just goofing around with it a little on Scorpion but it really surprised me when I could actually make the ball look good on that long of an oil pattern after it was slightly broken down. I foresee this ball being the most popular of the three, partially because of its colors, but also because of how well it hits and the different angles you can play with it and still crush the pocket. Like the Freezes, you get a lot of bang for your buck with this ball and I look forward to seeing a lot of success from this piece in the future!
