A lot of my bowling buddies have drilled these out with good results, so I decided to try one of my own. Drilled a 15 pounder with about a 3 inch pin. Drilled it pretty much label with the pin just to the right and even with my ring finger and the CG on my grip center shifted about a half inch right. When I first threw it, I expected a bit more reaction, as it made a strong move, but didn't cover a whole lot of boards. Played around with it in league for a couple weeks, but didn't like how inconsistent it was in the backend. Sometimes it would jump early, othertimes it would skate by. Threw it on the Haus machine and hit it with some grey scotch brite pads. That brought the break point in quite a bit, but once it got some oil in the cover, it was perfect. Still makes a strong move, but the break point is earlier and much easier to read, and the ball is much more predictable. A very good ball from Columbia, with a great bang for the buck.
