This ball will make you feel like you ripped off the pro shop! This will be one of the best values and best performers for the money of the year! The Ti Boss core with the Resurgence cover makes this ball a winner. If you need a ball for oil and don't have the money for the high-end stuff, don't worry this is your ball. Great rolling ball with strong midlane and big move at the break point! You'll definitely be making a lot of Noize when this ball hits the pocket! Thanks, Bruce

I drilled this one to it's most potential 3 3/8's stacked. Ended up needing an extra hole

Left OOB, as I always do when I first drill up a new ball!
I am going to have fun with this one as I try different surface changes every week, while trying different parts of the lane

This is going to be a great ball, this ball reads the lanes so easily, and it wants to just flip and go.
The combination of core and cover is a great combination of success waiting to happen.
The ball wants to continue through the pins without any give up to it.
It will be interesting to see other bowlers faces when they see this ball roll down the lane.

OK, 12 games in with the ball being OOB. Like it alot, this ball moves off the dry boards.
Now it was time to change the surface. I put on a light coat of shine, first used a brand new abralon pad ( 2000) with high speed and lots of water, worked that ball for a good half an hour. Brought the ball to a shiner surface, than added a little ( and I mean a little, about half the size of a dime) Snake Oil. I was able to immediately move 7 boards right and go more straighter up the boards, about 5 to 3 this ball now gives me so much more length, and the kick is alot more noticeable.
I now have about 24 games on this ball and I am totally impressed with its versatility

Absolutely great ball. I was looking 4 a ball 4 heavy/long patterns. Dam that's what I got and then some. Ball is drilled stacked leverage oob finish. Ball picks up an early roll with great hard arc. Anybody with high speed and high rev rate like myself will love this ball

The Noize is a great addition to the Columbia 300 line. The Ti Boss core has been proven time and time again. Add the New Era cover with some teeth (1000 grit Abralon), and you have a ball that costs much less than others, yet still gives the reaction of a high-end ball.

I drilled mine with a dual-angle layout, 55* by 70* at 4 1/2" from my PAP. With the heavy oil in our center, this ball performed very, very well. I play this ball about 3 boards right than my Rival with my feet, and about 1 board right with my eyes. I had to keep the ball in the oil as long as I could, so it would not burn up when hitting friction.

For players with high axis-rotation, I recommend using layouts with pins 4 1/2"-5" from your PAP, and bowlers with more end-over-end roll, I recommend using stronger layouts. Either way, this ball with give you a lot of hook potential, without emptying your bank account.

I bought this ball basically thinking I would be getting a Resurgence for a cheaper price. I got a longer pin on this ball (around 4.5 inches). The first time I threw it, (keeping in mind I thought this ball would be like the Resurgence) I moved to the deep inside and threw a big hook but the ball hit the 3-6 pocket. I was very suprised at the lack of hook that I saw. I moved back to the outside with it and thats where the ball came to life. Since then, I have scored really well with this ball playing straight up the boards. All in all this is a great ball. I would love to have several of these to replace the old one with when they wear out. Check this ball out, one of the best values you will find.

Was extremely surprised at the amount of hook I got out of this ball. I liked the reaction i got on fresh patterns because the ti-boss core kept the ball from over-reacting at the break. The resurgence cover allowed this ball to be great on heavier patterns. I was really impressed with this ball and even more impressed at its price point. Hands down the best ball for the money, everyone who we sold one to thought the same. Drilled mine 3 1/2 from axis and then drilled a second with a 5' pin and polished it to compliment my first one. If you need a heavy oil ball at entry level price, then this is your ball.

Let me start by saying this ball is a HOOK MONSTER for this price range...It is incredible to say the least but it's not a jerk off the spot which i love the ball reads the fronts really well and with slight surface altercations the ball can be used on a multitude of patterns and surfaces...i really recommend this ball because it's a great great ball and a complete steal at this price range!

OK. This review is a bit different from the rest as I had different intentions with this ball. Watching Chris Barnes throw one of these on TV in the 09 US Open made me decide I needed to drill one as a control piece.

I drilled mine with a 5 5/8" pin to PAP, derived MB at 2 3/4" to PAP. I took the surface up through all the pads to 4000 on the Haus machine and it came out glossy, so no polish added. (It looks like it's polished, but is in fact really, really smooth.)

The reduced surface profile and control layout makes this ball just glorious on the fresh over under my house serves up. This ball doesn't see the heads, then just rolls and rolls and rolls. Gives me the look and hit I'm after. First two games were 248, 267, then the heads got a bit funny and I shot 171 thinking I could make it work. No dice, so I made a 7-5 move with a Momentum Swing for 258. (Glad I know what move to make now!)

I think I'll drill another one with OOB finish and a stronger layout for oil.

Well I guess its time for me to post a review on this ball. I have had this ball for about 6 months. This is probably the smoothest and hardest hitting ball i have ever had. It rolls really well in oil and continues through the pin deck with ease. I have a high series of 792 with this ball. It has the ability to play staight and up the boards or you can swing it with the proper lane conditions and carry just as well play either one. Keeps the pins low and the pin action is awesome. This is the best oiler in its price range. This ball is a winner!
