Bully
Bully your competition...it'll turn 'em Black & Blue!

Partnering with BASF, we developed a custom urethane system designed specifically to fit today's challenging conditions. We targeted a strong hooking coverstock with a continuous backend, so M80 was developed. This revolutionary reactive formula gives the reaction of particle without particle. Our new M80 coverstock will hook in heavy oil and create more midlane with a smooth controllable break point. Then, our R & D team went to work to design the new mallet core to release the power of M80.

This Bully doesn't just start a fight...it finishes it!

I'll third the motion from the previous two. Stay away from this ball!!! They are discounted heavily for a reason. Reacts o.k. for the first 20-30 games, then forget about it. I have no use for this ball whatsoever now..

Dissapointing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Specs:
15.4
3 inch pin
3 oz top

Drilled:

4 x 4 but looks stack.
Pin next to ring with cg down by thumb.
Xtra hole 6 inches from center of span.

Experience:
This is a great ball to have in the bag. It rolls and hits very well. The ball rolls in the mid lanes with a smooth continuous backend just like Columbia said it would do.

(Old HPL Lanes) The best reaction I got was when the oil was med with backends. When there is carry down i have to square up and go straighter which usually works.

The thing i have been seeing is when there is long oil with heavy heads this ball is very speed sensitive. You have to really slow it down and stroke or else this ball just keeps skiding and reacts very late. Even with Surface adjustment it does that. I guess that's why Columbia has their Big Bully to compensate for such a condition.

ball specs:
15#
2.5in pin
top ?
third drill

the ball is now on its third drill and the thumb of one of them is the weight hole in the current drill. i dont know the exact drill so im not going to write it.

the ball was givin to me by a bowler at my local house and all i can say is wow. i have never had to ajust a board with it, its always the same drop at 22 and break at the 15 marker down the lane. it hits decent but the real plus is its always the same. on days the xception cant move it breaks the same, but also on days the x is in the gutter at 40ft it still reacts the same! this is my go to ball if the patterns are tough.

overall it is a great ball and i have never seen anything so consistant and i highly recomend it.

wt: 15 lbs 1 ounce
tw: 2 ounces
pin: 5"
style: stroker
med rev, med speed

bought this ball accidently from eBay..cuz i did not check the pin displacement before i purchased it..shocked when i received the ball..hesitant to use the ball cuz i thought the length of the ball will be drastic becuz of the pin..my thoughts were confirmed by my driller..however he managed to drill the ball to hook earlier  by adjusting the pin and the PAP (i'm not too good in these things, so i juz leave  my ball in his hands)

once i start on the ball, i hit higher than my own ave..then on the 4th n 5th game.. the 200s keep comin in..on my league the next night.. i had a 200plus once i start on the first game..and constant strikes on the following games..

only had to shift 2 boards to my left and use my same usual 2nd arrow..
quite satisfied with the ball though it was a wrong buy.. strong hitting power!!

Just call me REV

Weight: 14 lbs
Style: Cranker
Drilling: Cg under the ring finger and popped out a lil bit to the right

I love this ball. I was so excited when i got it. THis ball is great on oily lanes and good on med oil but u got to get it out a lil more on med oil otherwise its going to take off on you. It hits with so much power, there is nothing left after this thing leaves the deck. This ball barley ever leaves 1- pins. If ur a cranker and looking for a ball to score when u can play down and in on a lot of oil this is the ball 4 u! THis ball will hook and hit the pocket. If the lanes are tuff this is my go to ball because i know this ball will get it done 4 me.

went to replug my ball since the last review.. and managed to resolve that problem..
he gave a 0' pitch for my thumb, instead of my usual reverse pitch, and the ball strikes like nothing!!! from a 170+ ave increasing to 190+ - 200+ ave..

when i founded this ball, i search the net for details and i find than my ball was discontinued and replaced for the "big bully ball" and "the backyard bully"
then i star to use it and my feelings about my ball started to change, i saw the way my ball hit the pins and i surprised. now i used all the time the only problem is that here in mexico in the state of tabasco, theres only one bowl, and never never have an only line, that too bad because i cant see the way of my ball in optima conditions.
am a verY high revs bowl player, rig i played on the left side of the line and place my ball 25 (5TH ARROW) THE HOOK IS STRONG.

This bully is a sweet ball. I have only thrown it for a few games but I but from what I can see this ball hits harder than any ball I have used and it turns hard into the pocket and carries very well. This the 2nd columbia ball I have thrown and I might consider picking up another columbia in the future.

my pro shop is selling this ball for $75 and there's maybe 20-30 games on it, idk why its a great ball, the span is close and the finger holes are a little big but never the less i tried it. with the bigger thumb hole it was hard towards the end to keep a steady grip on the ball and when you slow down the ball speed it will hook early and it even went to the left of the head pin but still struck luckily. i easily got 5 or 6 in a row with this ball with all its back end, every shot was dead flush. the first ball i threw i left a solid 9, i'm defanately picking up this ball when i get paid tomorrow. we'll see how it does in the long run with the reviews some people gave for this ball. one of my co-workers was walking back from the back when i threw my ball, (i was on the last lane) and i threw a blistering strike and he just covered his ears. strong, very strong ball

I stopped using Columbia balls like 15 years ago.  Back then I started with the Beast before moving to the Cuda!  Loved the reaction of the Cuda but it only lasted me about 30 games before the core cracked!

Now after such a long time and when I saw this ball on sale as a discontinue ball in the local pro shop, I just had to give it a try!  I am not good with drilling and stuff as I am just a normal bowler averaging about 200 with my current Pure Energy from DynoThane! So I left the drilling to my local pro shop!

When I first threw the ball, I notice that the ball have very good reaction on the alley that I normally play in which usually has a medium oil condition.

This ball blows the pins when it hits the pocket.  I managed to play 213,198,199,236 on the first 4 games I played with it!

I must say that after such a long time of avoiding Columbia balls, my new Columbia ball has given me a new aspect on the company!  I just hope that this time the ball last longer than my old Cuda!

Good Ball and definitely going to be my first ball out of the bag!
