Don't be afraid to be a tyrant on the lanes with the Columbia 300 Tyrant Pearl bowling ball. This ball takes the proven success of the Reflex coverstock and Columbia's Hypershock Technology puts it into a pearl version. Hypershock Technology (HST) is a material that enhances the energy of the bowling ball by reducing recoil off the pins and retains energy. This coverstock combination and technology produces a ball that offers length with control. The core in the Tyrant produces control, continuation, and versatility by combining a low RG, high differential, and medium mass bias. The Columbia Tyrant Pearl bowling ball offers nothing less than controlled aggression.

COMMENTS

I loved the motion of the original Tyrant for my heavy oil ball when I need control throughout the lane, but sometimes this ball was too strong for the medium lane patterns that do not have enough head oil for this ball… This is where the Tyrant Pearl really shines. This Tyrant Pearl has the same BIG core, but with the pearlized coverstock gives a good amount of length while having the same strong motion in the midlanes added with a strong continuation through the pindecks. I am really impressed with the strong motion that I see with this pearl cover and will allow me to use this ball when the original starts up too early. I have seen a lot of National staffers use this ball to provide a strong continuous motion down the lane instead of a flip motion. The new Tyrant Pearl will offer a different motion seen with pearlized balls, STRONG w/ CONTROL motion for on medium-heavier to heavy lane patterns.
For me this ball is a touch earlier than the Scandal Pearl with a smoother continuation down the lane, which results in this ball about 4-6 boards stronger overall.

You will be impressed with the strength and control motion this ball has for a pearl ball. Two thumbs up on this new release from the C300 brand!
