LANE CONDITION
Length: short, medium, long sport patterns
Volume: 27ul, 26ul, 23ul
Type kegel sport compliant
I am NOT a staffer, so I have no issue with telling anyone if I like a ball or not
LH, 385 rpm
medium track
16mph at the gun downlane
Likes: smooth up front, longer arcing motion downlane, predictable
Dislikes: on the short, I had a hard time seeing the transition as the color combo makes it difficult to see that. I'm probably in the minority of bowlers that watch for this.
Ball is drilled with simple pin above bridge.
Left the ball at OBB surface and it may have been a bit to much for the short pattern, I was doing quite well with my GB2, so I didn't change it at all for this pattern.
On the medium pattern, the volume was a little less and the pattern was pretty flat, so it was hard to give it a good evaluation (for me anyways)
when thrown properly on that pattern, the ball has ease through the heads and a strong arcing, but continuous motion, its stronger than the Oath for me.
On the long pattern is where I really liked this ball, even took it 1000 dull.
We were on a 45' medium volume sport pattern that required a soft hand and good shotmaking, when it broke down a little, the ball really started to come alive and carried quite well.
On paper, this ball looks very similar to the disorder, which I also have.
these balls are not the same IMO, the SD is longer and stronger from what i can see
I certainly will adjust the surface to use on my THS if there is enough oil
This ball will stay in my arsenal
