Complete Chaos
« on: December 31, 1969, 06:00:00 PM »
The Complete Chaos is Columbia 300's newest TEC (Texture Energy Control) ball. Complete Chaos is available in Blue Grass with Gold engraving and is available in weights of 10-16 lbs.  The Complete Chaos is Columbia's newest TEC (Texture Energy Control) coverstock ball with microscopic balloons added in SuperFlex shell for additional traction. The ball hooks more than any Columbia ball on the market with a stronger backend reaction. The ball has a strong dynamic bullet core enabling the Complete Chaos to grab the lane at the end of the oil (or in carry down) and make a sharp turn at the break point. The ball has a medium Rg (2.539) and a high differential Rg (.069) to create 6-9 inches of flare. The ball has a C.A.T.S. hook rating of 25.

GREAT BALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I picked opne up on here for auction paid $42.00 for a used one and I am sure glad I did it!!

Okay here is what happened:
I lined up last dot and shot over middle arrow and the ball would go out to about the 2-3 arrow and one it got
80% of the way down the lane it broke! I mean it just became complete chaos! It hit the pocket
like  tank! Pins went everywhere! Very reliable ball! This was on soaked oil. I used it the next day on medium dry lanes
but I did not see any difference! Great ball for any lane! I highty recommend. I am only 17 and on mhy 2nd yr of bowling a
and i bowled a 212 the 1st game with it not bad huh? I give it  a10 out of 10! Way to go Columbia~

I'm finally posting a review on the Columbia Complete Chaos, I purchased this ball in used condition.

Ball Specs:
16-pounds with a 1 1/2 inch pin.
coverstock was well maintained.

Results:
I've had this ball for a few months now, and i've been working on my physical game. Last night I was practicing and i decided to pull this ball out,and the following results happened.
I was bowling a straight up the boards shot, axis tilt was about 45-degrees, and just basically just let the ball roll off my hand.
I bowled the following games:
279-278-258 for a 815 series
The ball has a heavy mid-lane roll, and a nice breakpoint at the back end.
I notice this ball tends to roll out when the oil in the mid-lane is gone, and you need to make a ball change at that point.
Overall great oil ball, but just have another ball ready when the lane breaks down.

At the time this ball was released I felt there was nothing as good as this ball on the market for the med heavy to heavy conditions. Probably one of, if not the most controllable balls ever produced since the reactive/particle covers came about.

I was able to play straight up 10 with this ball because it was so smooth, and it did not react too violently off of the break point. It absolutely distroyed the pocket.

My first TRUELY happy results with particle. I never lost any reaction on this ball and I put atleast 200 games on it. My father still throws it now and it still reacts the same.

10 out of 10, certainly the best ball in the Chaos line.

pin to the right and touching my ring finger, cg out 1 1/2 in. weight hole about 3 in. from grip line

this ball has a great continuos midlane reaction and drives through the pins.  i can't use it on heavy oil, only on med, cuz the hook isn't that big.  but who ever said the ball has to hook big for it to be good.  on the house shot i bowl on, i throw it up 3rd and this ball always seems to find its way home to the pocket.  (shot my 1st 300 with this ball)
if only they still made this one i'd buy me another, drill it up stronger, and see if i couldn't open up more of the lane.  but i've got other stuff for that, this one does its job well, that's why its still around in my bag

AN OLD HELPER

SPECS: UNKNOWN/TERRIBLE

Well I had this ball for about 6 months before it died I was the third person to try it and the guy before me drilled it himself and did a shaky job. The ball did work well enough however. I would use this during league play often early in the night when the shot was fresh the ball could blow the lane clean open. The ball would get into a roll early and just could not be stopped and it ran over pins like a monster truck amazing how it still had any energy when the ball got there. After about 6 months the ball finally let go and it would turn for me so I got rid of it but every now and then I remember how easy this ball made the first part of the night!!!
