using the ball after being in the trunk of the car in cold weather, the ball perspires  like a pig for a long time.  Is this only a warm weather ball?

Leaving any ball in the trunk during cold weather is a no-no.  As much as the EPX is rumored to be prone to cracking, you're absolutely nuts to leave it in the trunk.
