Actually charlest the Creatures were remakes of teh Titan and Titan SE :-)

The cores are identical.

The Pulse core is more like an oversized Rival core with the ceramic nugget in the middle.

Doug,

The core shape may be similar, but the core number reflect a much lower RG and a much higher differential. I think the reaction would still be closer to the Pulses, excepting the stock surfaces.

From talking to the guys at 900G back in the early days after startup, they made it pretty clear that ebonite had the opportunity to take the BASF covers, but chose not to because they thought their covers were superior to BASF covers. From my understanding they are still using the BASF covers on their equipment as they did in the pre-ebonite take over days. Just my 2 cents.

It may be released here. I didn't see anything on ABS website for overseas equipment.

I see what you are saying charles..... The Creature Pearl rolled identically to my Titan and the Creature solid was almost identical to the Titan SE I had. Since the core design was identical and the reactions were so close I made the leap that the cores were the same....

my bad :-)

no big deal, Doug. I goofed on the shape. While the numbers are closer to the Pulses, the shape is closer to the Titans. The trick was Phil saying (back when the Creature's first came out) they don't need that Ti core to get the core's RG down low any more.

So the Creatures wind up being half-way between the Pulses and the Titan's. Not exactly a bad place to be and everyone seems to appreciate the Creature being a great benchmark ball. That's exactly what the Pulse and the Titan were.

Same stuff, different day!

Everyone loves some throw backs in bowling, other sports, and most other things.(cars ect)

Maybe down the road make a re-release Creature 2012 ball or what ever.(if you use the name alls I ask for is one or two of them in return. (that is dirt cheap by 2011,2012 prices.) lol

"These over-seas releases need to stop being USBC legal. If you can not purchase it from every pro shop in America, than it shouldn't be legal for USBC play at all. It's the United States Bowling Congress, not the World Bowling Congress."

What fun would that be - you know there is always some chance that a few of these will wind up on ebay, bowlingball.com, or some other site

I have to agree with that sentiment.

I see no logic in having the UNITED STATES Bowling Congress approve a ball that will not be allowed to be sold in the United States.  Unless ALL other countries are going to allow the USBC to RULE their country''s bowling activities, this approval procedure makes little logical legal sense. Since most countries will NEVER let any ruling body in the USA affect anything they do, this makes no sense whatsoever.

If it''s approved by the USBC, it should, by LAW, be made available for purchase in the USA.

It been abc/wibc/usbc approved for years. The companies are only doing this for our benefit because some of them do make it to the U.S., or never leave. That way you can use them in leagues and your scores count.

I love the overseas equipment I've had and wish they did release them here. Most look better then what they release here.

I've argued with reps on here before but they don't care.

I just found an original C300 Pulse on the bowling rack Sunday while I was bowling in a adult/child 9 pin no tap tournament. It's the pearl blue one in mild rough shape. I asked the counter personal if I can have it or whatever and they had no problem with that so I brought it home for my dad. He seems to be excited to get it reconditioned, plugged, and redrilled shortly.
