Reaction Arc
« on: June 04, 2008, 10:50:13 PM »
I had a Reaction Arc a few years back and loved it.  I've been trying to find a ball with similar reaction, but haven't had any luck.  I've been reading a lot of reviews recently about the Resurgence.  Would the Resurgence have a similar reaction to the Arc or do I have to buy a particle ball to get that type of reaction?

I would think the Resurgence would be similar.  Your not going to find a ball that is identical to that beast of course.  Plus that ball had the 2 arc flip blocks at the ends of the core.  As far as total hook potential though, and shape, I would think the Resurgence would be good.  I've only seen the Arc rolled.  So maybe someone will have rolled both and can give you a more accurate thought.

Why settle for something new, when the original is better. I would call or email first just to make sure.

I have the Arc and love it.  But here's a link to a ball that will give you a similar look to the Arc for less than the price quoted for the Arc on bowling ball mall.

The Big Bang will give you a little more length than the Arc, but will still have the atrong arcing motion you're looking for.  The Big Bang's coverstock is not quite as adjustable as the Arc's coverstock, but it is a lot more durable.  You'll get years of consistent play with the Big Bang.  It's a great ball.

GLC Bowling ships very fast and charges less for shipping than just about everybody.
