Attion Max or Action Attack??
« on: January 06, 2007, 01:14:11 AM »
Looking for some opinions. I am looking at bowling at the Pro-Am in the upcoming PBA stop here in Vegas.

For the ball package, one can get an Action Max or Action Attack. I do need a heavy oil ball and both seem to fit the bill (and BTM rates them about the same with the Max being a little shorter and more hooking in OOB finish).

I am a higher speed, medium revs type of player. I think I would be happy with either but thought I would see if anyone has suggestions.

Thanks for your input.

If you are a higher speed player, I would THINK that Action Max would be better as it should grab the lane sooner than the Attack.  Do not quote me on this because I have not seen the Action Attack in "action" so to speak.  I would shoot JJBowl a pm on here.  I am not sure how often he is actually on these boards, but he is the Columbia guru

For Heavy Oil I would recommend the Action Max.  The Action Pack is a great ball for Med-heavy condition, but the Max definetly can handle the slicker stuff

if u want a heavy oil ball then go with the max if u want something longer and more flippy then get the attack. i love both of mine and they are pretty far apart. the max is alot earlier and still hoooks in the back but the attack is longer and gives me more back end the off set each other alot.

I totally agree with ChrisLak, I have the same reaction with these 2 balls as Chris does. Between the 2 though the Max is the first ball out of my bag, then I decide if it's too much and go to the Attack next
