Could you compare.

I'm seeing words like big backend for the Uturn Particle but I thought it was the same ball as Formula.

I see Uturn says UFO(ultimate friction in oil) which they say is a low load large particle(like the WOW oil hog).  Great on a condition like the Nationals I hear where you want smooth backend.

Formula says it is Vaccine but still described as a low load large particle but Formula is polished.

Alter Ego does say UFO  low load large particle!  But is assymetric.

I have heard all 3 balls above described as having smooth backends but now I'm seeing some reviews saying Uturn Particle has pop.  Maybe you've seen my post saying formula has control and NO pop!

Also what about the SHock.  This is listed as UFD coverstock.  Anyone able to compare the Shock to the balls above???

PS lots of little tweaks eh?

Thanks...I don't think I could have found a better person to have tried all 4!

One question Jeff.  Have you ever thrown an Icon 2?   I get a lot of backend out of that particle!!

And my Reaction Roll gives quite a pop after the pattern!!!

And yes, the UTurn particle has pop.

Yes it does. A friend of mine was bowling against my team this past Thursday. The oil was medium. He normally throws a Yeah Baby, but on this day he threw his U Turn of which he just purchased the previous day and let me tell you, this U Turn got good length and had pop on the back-end and had scouts flying around on almost every hit. He and I bowl in the same 3 leagues. I'm going to watch this ball and see if it continues to work like that.

I have a friend that is a Morich guy and he loves the reaction of his WMB.

He loves the reaction of my Icon2 and tells me all the time it is one of the best he has seen on our long low volume shot.

I have this think lookin like a marble!!!

Other lefties in our center have stocked up on em too!  Lower load and bigger backend than the Icon!  (I have Icon and it loves another center here).  More au jus!

The regular EGO is a great go to ball and covers alot of conditions. Atleast for me any ways. Drilled 5-1/2x5-1/2 I love the versatility of this ball and it is a polar opisite from the formula I have. The hit at the pins is pretty good and crisp through the rack. Just my 2cents.

The Ego was a great ball for me too!  In the games I didn't have 3 splits with it!

I would have so many strikes and so much high revvin carry but this elusive monster left me confused as I had one too many 3 split games with it with a number just below 2 as the starting digit.

This elusive high powered pearl monster was the epitome of high testosterone bowling!!!

Mine was pin under ring and cg out about an inch.

This may have been too much midlane for my local area!

Ball was way jumpy(big hevs at break and hit) and must always keep the speed up.
It seemed to also go away a tad in carrydown(no carry usually).

Finally traded and guy who got it loved it!

I used it on an original AMF center with nice blender lanes and it again cleaned up!!!  It's favorite saying was "give me oil in the heads....Or give me splits!!"

Yea that sounds about the behavior of the ego lol not with mine but a few of the others I have seen being thrown. I guess mine really doesnt do that to me because of the drill. I can use it all 3 games if I wanted but sometimes I get bored with it and will try other stuff just for the hey of it. Used it last night all 3 games for are mega buck league in witch we were in a 3 way tie for 1st 2nd and 3rd shot 252 (dont ask) 227 with a open in the 10th from nearly tearing my knee up from sticking and 258 last game, every one had high scores the first game but when the carry down came hahahahahaha I was able to make my move to the right and not worry about a thing and watch as usual as every one struggled with flat 10 pins and 2-8-10 splits. I am scared though because she is staring to track in pretty good and needs a fresh surface. I am dreading resurfaceing her because of previous experiences with colubmia and the ball not coming back to life of of the haus. Has any one had any luck reviveing this cover after resurfaceing? Ooops sorry for the high jacking of the topic, maybe ill just post another topic asking this question.

I'm afraid to respond to this post...as I have twin daughters!

BUT...above...Those aren't many splits!  If I could have cut my splits with this monster down below 8 or 9 a night...i could have been dangerous.

When I went to properly oiled centers...then my scores were close to yours!

But not quite!
