where would these two balls fall in my arsenal?? my current arsenal: action -> action packed -> dr. jekyll -> blue dot. still need a ball weaker than my dr. jekyll... any suggestions? tnx!
-
Action Attack is going to fall in between the Action and Action Packed
Wrath SF is going to fall in between the Action Packed and the Dr. Jekyll.
Hope this helps

i agree with cficare068. i would suggest a hyjinx or jinx if you're looking for something weaker than your dr. jekyll. super trooper would work too.

Current Arsenal:
- Action Attack
- Action Attack
- Big Shot
- Big Shot
- Wrath SF
- Jinx

ok, tnx for the quick reply guys.. rgarding my dry lane ball, wht type of drilling do i need.. is it better to drill it with a controlled layout?? or drill it aggresively?
-
it always depends on your revrate/speed. i personally drill my dry lane balls weak. pin above the bridge and the cg kicked out a little.

Current Arsenal:
- Action Attack
- Action Attack
- Big Shot
- Big Shot
- Wrath SF
- Jinx

I drill all of my balls aggressively. I have a good amount of speed and revs. The jinx works great on dry up to medium. Like renE stated, it depends on your rev rate/speed and how you like to throw the ball.
-
My friends don't find the HiJinx weak....plays few boards but is a strong cover.
Jinx is weak ...in a way.

ok... if i'm gonna get the jynx, and drill it aggresive, won't it overlap my dr. jekyll?? also, regarding wrath sf anf action attack, are these two balls any good?? would it plug into any hole in my arsenal which is action, action packed and dr. jekyll??
-
Friend of mine has a Jinx drilled with a 3 in pin. Pin is above the middle finger and with the cg about an inch and a half below the ring finger. Ball seems to go down the lane a fairly good distance and doesn't seem to over react in the backend. If I end up getting I will probably end up drilling it the same way.
-
this again has to do with rev rate/speed. how is your dr. jekyll drilled? if it's drilled aggressive and you would get a jinx drilled aggressive, i think that the jinx would be weaker than your dr. jekyll. i'm just saying this from my experience with these two balls. to fill in a gap in your arsenal, i would get the action attack. again, it always depends on your rev rate/speed and how much you work with hand positions.

- Wrath SF
- Jinx

The Jinx is not significantly weaker than the Dr.Jekyl, if at all. Doesn't make any difference how you drill it.
If you need a weaker ball in the COlumbia line-up, try a Scout/R pearl reactive.

ok... tnx! so scout/r reactive is much weaker than the jynx and dr. jekyll, ryt?? my dr. jekyll is drilled aggresive... any suggestion on the drilling of my weak ball?? i do not specifically know my rev rate, but they say that i have a pretty amount of ball speed... a down and in type of shot for dry lane, is it recommended or better as compared to the inside line??
regarding the attack, what type of reaction would it give me?? tnx again!
-
If your looking for a weak ball than the Jinx is definitely a choice you might consider, also, don't be afraid to look at a Scout
-
Jinx is a slightly weaker core but not much.
Scout is a weaker core(starts much later)....but still hooks on dry in back.
If dry in back it can hook hard.
The Dr. Jekyll is a stronger or jumpier coverstock(superflex pearl) than the Jinx.
The Jinx coverstock is something different and new and very smooth on the wet dry! I love mine and have only used once.
Here is an article on the Jinx coverstockwhich to make a difference should be drilled much weaker than your Dr. Jekyll. Ooops can't find right now!

if you get the scout, i would suggest using the same drilling like you use on your dr. jekyll.
through my personal experience, i think that the action attack revs up later than the action and action max but finishes stronger in the backend. the action is overall stronger than the action attack.

ok, tnx! but how should the attack b drilled?? dos it need to be drilles to go long and snap hard to make it effective?? how about dr. my dr. jekyll being drilled weak?? would it still be effective?? tnx!
-
also, if i would drill my attack same as my action, what would be the reaction of my attack as compared to the action??
