i drilled my ball like this..pin displacement 5", finger span 4 1/8.

after bowling for 6 months, the reaction of the ball seems to have reduced, and the ball seems to have shined up.i'm a stroker and i shifted my aiming at 5boards from 10 boards and my feet from 10 boards from 18 boards, but in heavy oil.. the ball seems not to be come in enough. any way i can make the ball more aggressive?dull the ball?

i clean it after every time i bowl..one round around the whole ball then one more round the track..

i'm using bully..

Make an oil extraction - either at your pro shop, or do it at home with Ebonite's CPR system or the bucket method. Should restore some original tackyness to your ball (making it "squeek" again upon touch), and maybe think about either a new polish after that or some fresh wet sanding. Should bring back 80-90% of the original hook, from personal (positive) experience.
Wiping the ball frequently between frames prevents a good deal of oil absorption beforehand, and cleaning it after some games is also good for a clean and grippy surface.
