action packed or max

I am looking for a ball to use when my awesome flip is too much. Which of these two will give me a more controllable strong arc shape?

Action will be smoother.

Between the two you picked; the action max is lower in break point shape and angularity, so I would go Max.

The Packed is the strongest action out.

Um if I recall correctly the Action Packed is the weakest of the Action Line.  With the Action Max being the strongest.  Personally I would say go with the Action Packed.  I got my Action Packed off of a friend, and he has the Awesome Flip as well.  Personally to me the action packed is weeaker then the Awesome Flip.   Hope this helps.

My Action burned up on me if there wasn't much oil.  The Action Packed with the shiny cover would work better for more length.

did read the post.  Action Max and Packed have strong moves to the hole.

Not as archy as the Action.

I was actually thinking exactly like JDT. Go with the max and apply polish if needed. Do to google/bowlingball.com's ridiculous sale, I ordered one this morning. Thanks to all who responded.

Since we are on the Action line. The new Action Attack has a nice move as well. I have mine drilled with pin under the index finger, 6" pin position for me and it still has a smooth move.
