Drilled one up hopeing it was the a good heavy oiler but i dont think it is at all. The ball is great shined up and it becomes very useable but as far as heavy oil i threw it on a 46 foot sport patern and my One outhooked it by about 7 boards. Its a geat rolling ball and carry is awesome but its not for heavy oil.

well I enjoy the Action for heavy oil shot.  ws6oi I think you will find if you play the Action on a heavy oil non sport condition the Action will do much better.  All reviews I have seen the Action is not for sport patterns.

I felt on the out of the box finish the ball just hooked way too early.  I dont see a lot of "heavy oil" around here.  So I put some polish on the ball and is now my fav ball out of the bag.  The ball carries so well.

My layout is pin above ring cg in the midspan out 1.5 inches.  I tend to put a lot of forward roll on the ball.

Does the Action have a mass bias indicator engraved on the ball?
