No they are not completly identical the byb is asymetrical the ap is symetrical so the byb is going to be stronger throught the whole lane.

The Action Packed compliments the Action.  The Action Packed with have a stonger move at the breakpoint than an Action.  The big difference between the AP and BYB is the AP will read oil much better because of the lower rg core.  Good luck.

After changing my action packed to 1000 abralon matte finish it is whole new ball. Factory it just skated a mile for me on the lane conditions i bowl on, now it reads the mids and backends hard off the dry. I was going to sell it too jkiser01 but now i like the roll and the hit, so sorry jim it is staying around for awhile lol

So if you bowl in a squirrly house like i do feel free to take it down some and you might be surprised how strong of a ball you really have. In my house polished usually just skates and some surface even on weaker balls works best. The exception to the rule is brunswick polished activator balls like the vapor zone and inferno, every other brand of polished ball just cant make the corner hard enough. By 2 nd shifts the heads are gone and the carrydown is usually medium to heavy so shiny still does not work.

Mrbowlingnut I had to break down my shell too.  We like to make them really smooth from the factory.  Usually grey or white pad does the trick.  Glad to hear that you kept it.  I'm sure it will grow on you.  Thanks for the support.
