U-Turn Particle Pearl
« on: February 13, 2006, 08:27:05 AM »
I used the UTPP on friday night 2 nd shift, great ball for playing inside lines ball has great backend reaction and hit. Ball is drilled pin over ring finger and cg stacked below for me it is 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 no weight hole. If you are bowling on 2 nd shifts with carrydown problems you might wish to consider one of these balls.

I have mine with the pin below the ring finger and the CG kicked out slightly. As mrbowlingnut said, this ball plays nice inside and has one heck of a turn to the pocket. It drives very hard through the pocket keeping the pins low while carrying well. With the amount of backend reaction this ball has it carries the 10 pin amazingly well, maybe it's me but I haven't seen many using this piece.

I just drilled the one I got from clint and I love the ball. I pulled it out in traveling league yesterday when my big one was hooking to much and had 8 in a row with it.. Its a very strong backend ball.. Mine is drilled pin up and to the right of the ring with the cg in the palm area with no weight hole..

I drilled  the U-Turn particle the same as Mrbowlingnut has the pearl and got the same type reaction. A real surprise considering this is particle. I used it the 4th and 5th games of travel. I was pleasatly surprised at how easy it would get to the breakpoint, so I can only imagine what the pearl version looks like. Sounds like a real possiblity to replace my old Trimax III that I have for late travel and late games of USBC Nationals singles event.
