Title: another new columbia ball.. specs enclosed..
Post by: jkiser01 on February 01, 2007, 05:54:59 AM
Columbia 300 is proud to introduce the newest addition to our product line... 10â„¢ by Columbia 300

Hard hitting Capstoneâ„¢ core meets with M80â„¢ to knock down all “10”.  We’ve lowered the Rg (2.45) and raised both the differential (.054) and intermediate differential (.025) in manufacturing the strongest asymmetric core in Columbia 300’s history.  Combine the core with our proven M80 cover and you have a ball that will devastate the competition.  The “10” from Columbia 300, it’s not just a number – It’s an attitude.

The 10 is available in Deep Purple with Neon Green/White engraving and is available in weights of 12 to 16 lbs.

I am going to ask a couple of questions:

Whats the difference between this ball and the Apogee?

Both have the same Core and Coverstock. I can see that the RG and DIFF numbers are different. Has the Core been slightly modified for this ball?

I believe it's a solid version of the Apogee. Solid M80 would be the same as the Bully or Big Bully.

I like the ball motion the Apogee gives me, I can't wait for this one, something a bit stronger in the oil.....

if it is indeed a solid version of the apogee and is more aggressive in the oil, then i am definitely going to get one. i have played with the surface on my apogee so much so it would not squirt too bad, so this would allow me to play the oil better and then go to my other one when the 10 starts to go.

Is that a marketing material used agains Ebonite? Ebonite released The one, and  now columbia releases the 10, which sounds like 10 times better than the one

my 0.02

thanks
