Burst vs 715C
« on: December 28, 2010, 11:08:42 PM »
How will these two compare?
I am looking for a step down from my 505T, I have a 607A but Im not crazy about it. Just doesnt match my game well, Ive tried many surface changes and it just seems to be not as versatile as I had hoped. I love my 715T and 505T, with the 505T being one of the best balls Ive ever owned! So now I want something that gets down the lane better better than the 505T or 607A.
I have a Roto Grip Dark star which I love but it is a bit flippy and has about 200 games on it, so i want to replace

Current Arsenal:
Brunswick 3.5   60x5x35    2000Ab...hardly ever use
715T            65x4.5x30  2000AB   LOVE IT...but never use on THS
505T            65x4.5x30  2000AB   Use constantly, love it and cant put it down
607A            65x4x30     2000polished    Not comfortable with, tried 4000AB, 2000AB, 1000AB polish

Dark Star        70x4x40      1500 polished    Love it when lane breaks down unless head are totally fried.

Tell me what Im missing......

Thanks
Vince

The 715c might be a bit stronger than the burst, but the burst can be taken down to 2000 polished or so.  The burst is a bit more archy than the 715c from what I've seen and experienced.  It really depends on what exactly your looking for.  The 715c has a bit more pop than the Burst in my opinion.  Both would be less than the 505t, and clear the heads just fine
