MB influential on the Bully's?
« on: April 17, 2005, 11:22:12 AM »
On strong assymetrical balls like the XXcel and GP2, the MB effects the backend motion enough to make it part of the drilling. But is the MB influential on the Bully Series, i.e. the Backyard?

What mass bias would you be refering to?  That off balance shape merely add a little more differential to the ball much like the added side pucks in some Storm and Roto-Grip balls.

There is a reason the Bully's and the Throttles didn't have a marked mass bias.  That's because they don't have a mass bias stronger than .010  which would start giving them a prefered spin axis.

If you want MB from Columbia stick to the Alter Ego, Drive, and Overdrive...

I thought there was only one, sorry. Like in a lot of high end balls there is a marked MB that, when put different places on the ball, affects the backend motion of the ball. So I guess that the Bully series' MB doesn't effect much?

Right...and Right.

I plan on trying an original Bully soon(within 2 weeks).  I decided on that rather than a strong assymetrical from Track because I don't want anything to burn up due to my revrate.  I'll let you guys know how it works.
