The Sharp Noize

Well everyone I have had a few weeks to get comfortable with my Sharp Noize and I have to say when I first received the ball I didn't know how to drill it.  Being a lower rev player I didn't have great success with the Noize installments. I decided to put my favorite drilling on the Sharp Noize and take a chance. The drilling is 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 with the pin being drilled out. The top weight was not high enough to need an extra hole. After throwing it for a few games this ball came to life. I think it hooks more than the Freeze. At least it does for me.  Next  I am going to drill my other Cool   Noize with the same drilling to have a good one two punch. The Sharp Noize is clean through the heads and has a sharp back end reaction which is very predictable and noticeable. If you have tried and like the other balls on the Noize line than you will really like this one.

Before you drill your second Sharp NoiZe may I suggest a drilling of 4 X 4 with a 1 1/2 in pin buffer, I drilled my first one this way and wow does this ball hook.
I agree with you, the Sharp NoiZe hooks alot more than the Freeze, what a great addition to the Columbia300 line

This ball right here is needed to be in every bowlers bag out there. If you bowl in a league or tournament with light oil you will find a lot of success with the Sharp Noize. It is that ball that is made for dryer lanes but will still give you the "POP" ya need to drive through the pins without rolling out or over hooking. LENGTH is what this ball knows what to do and still has a "SHARP" turn right into the pocket. I keep mine at 4000 with polish. When others can not stop their ball from over hooking and they see that i am still able to play near the track I tell them about this ball!

ok i'm confused...

This ball is for drier lanes yet it hooks more than the freeze......

My freeze is too much for my wed. night league as it is and a thread had suggested a SN or a urethane.

I' beginning to think more like just buying 1 more freeze and putting a weaker layout onit.

has this been posted somewhere else....
I really need to see this ball compaired to the freeze by the same bowler. (one without 5000 revs)
